“So Much Worse than Everyone Thought”: Internet Explodes after Book Reveals Plan to Put Biden in Wheelchair for Second Term

Confirming what many suspected, a new book has revealed a plan to keep Joe Biden in a wheelchair had he won the 2024 election. Many prominent, conservative voices addressed the news, including Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who blasted Biden in a hilarious tweet.

For context, Biden’s health was a significant factor in the 2024 election. Eventually, Democrats’ mental decline was so apparent that Democrats were forced to concede and replace him at the last minute with Kamala Harris. Despite signs that were obvious to anyone with eyes, the DNC and their allies in the mainstream media denied Biden’s failing health until it became impossible to ignore.

In any case, Senator Ted Cruz took to X on May 13, 2025, to give his thoughts on the massive cover-up. He stated, “It was so much worse than everyone thought. And we thought it was pretty bad.” Attached to his post was a screenshot from an article which read, “BIDEN AIDES DISCUSSED PUTTING HIM IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR POTENTIAL SECOND TERM: BOOK. The new book Original Sin lays out how the former president’s team tried to cover up his mental decline.”

In the comments under his post, conservatives jumped at the chance to scold the media for ignoring this obvious story. One such comment said, “I definitely thought it was bad. I knew they were lying and covering for him, but we could all SEE it with our own eyes. It was foolish to think you could deceive people to this level. I won’t ever forget it.” Another added, “Minor disagreement here, Ted. Not worse than EVERYONE thought. It was extremely obvious to anyone paying attention, especially if they had experience with dementia in their loved ones.”

Continuing the social media backlash, many social media users highlighted the role the media played in this scandal. One user asked, “Is there a chapter in that book about how Jake Tapper totally gaslit Jake Tapper about Biden’s competence?” Another added, “Obviously, he was not running the government. The legacy media protected Biden and many continue to do so to this day. That’s why very few people trust or even watch the legacy media.”

Still not done taking the Democrats to task, several of the comments speculated about what a second Biden presidency would have looked like. One comment read, “That’s some weird FDR roleplay. Do you think a few years into his term they would have put him down, so Kamala could take over and be the true man she always wanted to be?” Building on this point, another response stated, “They just want another phony presidency so whatever puppet behind the scenes can act as the president. This needs to be stopped wholeheartedly and entirely. This can never be a thing again.”

Rounding out the comments, many conservatives vented their frustration with how obvious Biden’s failing health was. One such comment read, “We the people must be closer to our parents/grand parents than congress people – it was so obvious to us how bad it was – we had seen the same thing first hand.” In a similar vein, one user stated, “BigCorporateMedia knew the whole time. BigCorporateMedia covered it up. Lied about it. An unforgivable breach of public trust. BigCorporateMedia must see a reckoning.”
