A once-small family is now preparing for a massive Christmas in which they saw their number increase from two to four in the span of just a couple of months. Zac and Brittney Wolfe went from zero children last Christmas to FOUR children this year after one adoption, and the birth of their new triplets has bolstered the family’s size by 200%.
The Wolfes made the decision to adopt after a long while of struggling to conceive naturally, and that led them to get their baby daughter Charlie back in July. After that, Brittney’s miraculous pregnancy, which the couple had worked so hard for, was coming close to her due date. On October 19th, Brittney gave birth to three healthy triplets to add to the Wolfe family.
On Facebook, the family wrote, “Knox, Noa, and Navie decided it was time to make their GRAND appearance at 30 weeks and 5 days! @pennhighlandshc was more than prepared for this delivery! All doctors and staff were exceptional. Brittney and the triplets are all doing very well! We will go into more detail soon, but for now, we are going to love up on Charlie, Knox, Noa, and Navie! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the continued prayers.”
The Wolfes have been grateful for the kind prayers that have come their way from their circle of friends and family. Now, facing their first Christmas as parents in one of the most challenging ways possible, the Wolfes are receiving even more prayers from folks they have never even met.
The Wolfes gave a statement to People, explaining how they feel going into the busy Christmas season. They said, “Our family is so blessed this holiday season with OUR ENTIRE FAMILY HOME IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS. This is truly a dream come true for the Wolfe Pack! Knox, Noa, and Navie are all doing well and growing accordingly.”
They continued, “For us, we are working on a schedule so that we can get our rest as well! Currently from 9pm to 9am they are consuming 13 bottles between all of them. So, as you can imagine, this is tiresome! We are very fortunate and do have a lot of help from our family! This is truly the best Christmas gift that we could ever ask for!”
This is a dream situation for a family that fought so hard to be able to have children. To have so many so bountifully placed in their care in such a short amount of time, however, will undoubtedly cause Zac and Brittney some stress as it comes time to settle into their new routines as a mom and dad.
There will be no easing into a parenting role for these two. They now have four newborns after previously having no parenting experience. However, if their reliance on and gratitude for the prayers from others is any indication, Zac and Brittney will do just fine in their new role. While we may not see much more from the Wolfes, rest assured they will be doing just great this Christmas season.
