“Sickening”: Sen. Britt Skewers “Two-Tiered Justice System”

Alabama’s junior senator, Sen. Stacey Britt, just spoke to a Mobile area radio program and, during the interview, ripped into the Biden DOJ’s persecution by prosecution of former President Donald Trump, saying that the effort to lock him up is occurring because of his stance on issues rather than any crime he committed.

Particularly, Sen. Britt ripped into Merrick Garland for, in her view, going after Trump because of his America First Agenda, saying that the prosecution was occurring because of that rather than his conduct. She also insisted that the American people see what is going on and are sick of it.

Beginning, Sen. Britt argued that Americans can see what President Biden and AG Merrick Garland are up to and are sick of it, saying, “People are sick of it. The American people are sick of seeing we have a two-tiered justice system in this country. And we’ve gotten to the point where America is just done. We’re done with the way Biden is handling things. We are done with the way Merrick Garland is handling things.”

Continuing, she echoed the point many on the right are making and said that it is hard to be patriotic when the regime is constantly acting tyrannically and trying to lock up its political opponents. She said, “People want this country to stand for and be a nation that we know and love. That’s just not what we’re seeing with this. If you see it — let’s just be clear: They are prosecuting Trump because of where he stands on issues for what he was able to accomplish on the America First agenda, the movement, hard-working Americans who form our country’s silent majority want to be heard.”

Emphasizing that point, she argued that Americans are “sick” of Biden’s DOJ constantly persecuting Trump while ignoring Hunter Biden and the crimes documented on his laptop, saying, “I think America is just sick of President Biden going after political adversaries when that very same Justice Department is turning a blind eye to the acts of the Biden family and Hunter Biden, and it’s sickening.”

Sen. Britt isn’t the only female Republican from Dixie that’s sticking up for Trump. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene did so as well, saying, “The more times they indict Trump, the more people realize that the Biden administration is a communist regime. And for the first time, Americans are actually seeing what communism really looks like.” Watch her here:

She posted something similar on Twitter, saying, “I will still vote for Trump even if he’s in jail. This is a communist attack on America’s first amendment to vote for who THE PEOPLE want for President by an attempt to take Trump off the ballots through a politically weaponized DOJ. People know exactly what this is.”
