Brooke Hogan, the daughter of the sadly deceased professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, took to Instagram to post, on the “Instagram story” feature of the social media platform, a series of cryptic messages about her father’s passing. She claimed in the posts that she has been told she needs to see the 911 tapes to learn the truth.
As background, Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24 of this year at the age of 71. He reportedly passed away from a heart attack, having called 911 while indicating that he was undergoing cardiac arrest and then being transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. His passing occurred in his home of Clearwater, Florida.
While the records appear to support the contention that he passed away from a heart attack, the police are still investigating the matter. In fact, a statement from the police provided, “All of this takes time. Until the investigation is completed, no records related to the case, including body camera footage, can be released.”
The police added, regarding the investigation and the family’s involvement in it, “We plan to meet with the family and brief them on the case to this point, and we will share the results of the investigation with the family prior to closing the case and releasing it to the public and media.”
It was seemingly in relation to the fact that the police are still investigating that Brooke was referring when she said, on her Instagram stories, that she needs to learn more. Specifically, she alleged that professionals in the medical and law enforcement communities have told her to “get a hold of” the 911 tapes and body cam footage from the day of her father’s passing.
Posting about the matter, the 37-year-old woman said, in one of the story slides about the matter and her brother, “Here’s ALL I KNOW. So stop speculating, stop asking. I have also informed my brother [Nick Hogan] of all of this information who is boots on the ground with everything.”
Continuing, she said, as the New York Post reports, “FACT: I’ve 100% gotten legit calls from professionals — from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative we/I/everyone’s been hearing.”

Further, she alleged that those same people who are contacting her think there are specific answers that she can find by digging deeper into what happened, though what those “specific answers” are or may be about was unclear. She said, in any case, “Those same professionals feel so passionately about what they witnessed, they have continued to contact me and push me to find specific answers to this very day.”
Brooke then claimed that some of them have even put their careers on the line in helping her, as they think it is the right thing to do, though she didn’t explain how they had done so. She said, “They are quite literally putting their careers at risk because they feel so compelled to do the right thing.”
Brooke further claimed that Hogan’s widowed wife, Sky Hogan, is now firmly in control with what happens from here. She wrote, evidently angrily, “I have zero control. I can not do anything, my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad — even as his daughter. Those are the rules I’ve been told.”
In yet another post, Brooke commented on her father not having been cremated yet, saying, “I do not have any information on if or when he is being cremated. Could have been right after he died, could be tomorrow. I do not know. I have been told by my brother there will be an autopsy. I do not know who will be performing the autopsy. Any information I receive from an autopsy — if one happens — whether I believe it or not. I will be keeping private out of respect for my father.”
She added, returning to the matter of digging into what happened with his death, “I do not have answers as to if the officials who contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office. And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.”
And, in yet another cryptic post, Brooke said that she won’t be talking about the “mystery” anymore and that it is left in the hands of her brother, who is, she claimed, digging into the matter. “I have to trust that my brother is doing his best to get answers. At the end of the day, answers would be great, but none of it brings my dad back. And my hands are tied,” Brooke said.
