In a typically hilarious clip, President Donald Trump slammed Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), along with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), for falsely claiming that he intends to cut Social Security, accusing them of misleading the elderly. During his remarks, Trump quipped that, “She’s gotta take a drug test,” before criticizing Warren’s record on financial regulation.
For context, Trump began the clip by responding to Democratic claims about his decision to mobilize the National Guard to combat a rising wave of violent crime in Washington, DC. Pivoting after a question from the press, he demolished his critics with well-practiced ease.
In any case, Trump began his comments by speaking to the positive public reaction to his strong stance on crime. He noted, ‘People are so happy to see our military going into DC and getting these thugs out. As you know, we arrested a lot of people. Yesterday, we arrested a lot of people. Today, we’re getting people that have arrest records that you wouldn’t believe. 28 arrests, 15 arrests, brutal, brutal people.”
Interrupting, a reporter asked Trump to react to comments from his opposition about Social Security. The journalist asked, “Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren continue to peddle the lie and the claim that you’re trying to cut Social Security despite your repeated promises to protect it. Why do you think they keep pushing this information, misinformation, and literally terrorizing the elderly in America, who sadly keep watching the very misleading history media?”
Flattering the journalist for the insightful question, the president answered, “I love your question. I should have called you almost first, but I love these questions also. But it’s such a good question. It’s so vicious what they do. Elizabeth Warren said she was an Indian. We call her Pocahontas. She’s a liar.”
Lying out examples of Warren’s low character, Trump explained, “She lied her whole career based on the fact that she was an Indian. She was able to get into certain colleges, get certain jobs, and get into certain universities to work there. She’s a liar and a mean person. She’s a nut job. I watched her the other night.”
Continuing his humorous takedown, Trump blasted the shrill Massachusetts Senator. He noted, “She’s all hopped up endorsing a communist in New York City, and she was all excited and jumping up and down. She’s gotta take a drug test. She really does. She’s gotta take a drug test. There’s no way somebody can act that way and be normal.”

Still not done, Trump pointed to Warren’s atrocious record of financial regulation. He explained, “What she’s done to a financial institution. She destroys people. You know that you had a lot of great banks in the Midwest and banks that loaned to farmers and others, and they went out of business. She put them out of business stone cold, mean banks that were open 150 years, family banks that had supplied the farmers, manufacturers, and others, and she put them out of business. A mean, horrible human being.”

Concluding his remarks, the president turned the conversation back to the violent crime, putting Americans at risk. Trump stated, “I will say this, the biggest issue right now, and an issue that’s really taken hold is crime, stopping crime in the cities, and the Democrats are fighting the stopping of crimes.”
