A now-viral video clip is showcasing the lunacy of the radical left as it features a liberal woman losing her mind in a total meltdown outside of the Virginia Supreme Court after it invalidated a voter-approved congressional redistricting map. The woman can be seen marching up and down the sidewalk outside of the building, alone, screaming, “Shame!”
Reports on the ruling from the state Supreme Court say the justices struck down the map because lawmakers involved in its creation did not follow the constitutional process that is required by law to put the measure on the ballot. The idea behind the redistricting effort was to create more Democratic congressional seats to combat those that successful GOP redistricting maps have added ahead of the 2026 midterms.
Democrats, under the leadership of their far-left governor, Abigail Spanberger, pushed through a vote on their plan to give Democrats the majority in 10 of the state’s 11 districts. The current division of those districts is 6-5, with Democrats holding the majority. If the vote had not failed due to being unconstitutional, the plan would have given 90% of the state’s representation to Democrats.
According to a report from WND, that would have left the 49% of individuals who did not support the plan in the vote with only 9% of the representation. The fight over redistricting in Virginia is part of a larger battle happening across the U.S., where political parties are attempting to employ the use of state power to set congressional district boundaries in their own favor to gain control over the U.S. House.
The decision set forth by Virginia Supreme Court justices is a huge blow to Democrats, who were hoping to add four new seats through the new map. A report from the Washington Examiner explained that the court ruled that lawmakers acted too late when they approved the plan due to over a million early ballots having already been cast in the 2025 elections.
“The state’s Constitution requires the state legislature to vote on any proposed constitutional amendments in two stages with an election in between to give voters the opportunity to hold their representatives accountable if they don’t like the proposed amendment, and the state Supreme Court found that Virginia Democrats did not follow that process,” the report read.
The angry liberal woman in the video isn’t the only Democrat steaming mad over the court’s ruling. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) stated that his party is “exploring all options” to fight the decision. “The decision to overturn an entire election is an unprecedented and undemocratic action that cannot stand,” Jeffries went on to say in a statement, according to Fox News.

“MAGA Republicans have adopted voter suppression as a strategy, as also evidenced by far-right extremists on the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act to open the door to a Jim Crow-like attack on Black representation across the American South,” the New York Democrat added. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) said his party won the map fairly, stating, “Unlike Republican-led states that have redrawn their maps through backroom deals, the Virginia General Assembly let the people decide for themselves in a free and fair election.”
