Kid Rock and Jason Aldean are two of the contemporary artists who seem best able to send the left absolutely over the edge with anger, as was shown in vivid colors by the reaction to Jason Adlean’s “Try That in a Small Town.” They’re also the co-headliners of an upcoming music festival called “Rock the Country.”
Other artists performing at the “Rock the Country” festival include Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Koe Wetzel, Brantley Gilbert, Traviss Tritt, Lee Brice, Neely, Warren Zeiders, Big & Rich, Randy Houser, Uncle Kracker, Tyler Farr, Pecos & the Rooftops, Kolby Cooper, Colt Ford, Elvie Shane, Treaty Oak Revival, Gavin Adcock, Sadie Bass-Dee Jay Silver. Among those other singers, John Rich of Big & Rich and Brantley Gilbert are also well-known conservatives.
Rock, announcing the concert in a post on X (formerly Twitter) in which he shared an image that highlighted which artists will be performing, shared a link to the music festival’s web page, and said, “Can’t wait to bring you Rock The Country. A music festival like no other for hard working folks who love this country!”
In a statement on the upcoming festival and for whom it is meant, Kid Rock said that its a way for all patriots who help make the country run to rock out, saying, “Rock The Country is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America. Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America.”
Rock’s post also drew numerous conservative personalities. Scott Presler, for instance, asked Rock if the festival, which will presumably be full of conservatives, could also include voter registration facilities. He said, “Kid Rock, If there is any opportunity to do voter registration at any of these festivals, please let me know. I will provide my own volunteers & we won’t push politics. We simply want to make sure all of your fans are registered to vote at their current address. Thank you. 🙏”
Another individual noted how exciting the lineup is, saying, “I’m gonna do everything I can to get my tickets for Rome Georgia. This is my dream lineup. My daughter and I were just saying our two favorite artists were you and Jason Aldean and I cannot believe that we’ve got Travis Tritt in there for a bonus thank you! Will Trump be there?”
The festival’s webpage encouraged prospective visitors to order tickets through the site rather than through secondary sources, saying, “You can purchase tickets directly through the Rock the Country website on the tickets page. We strongly recommend that you do NOT purchase tickets from any other website aside from our official website. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets bought from any other sources. Your safest and most reliable option is to obtain your tickets through our official website.”
Shane Quick, president of touring and strategic expansion at LiveCo, which is helping run the event, said, “Rock The Country aims to bring the excitement and energy of a large-scale music festival to small towns across the country. With seven big shows in seven different towns, this event promises to be an experience like never before. Fans can expect a weekend filled with incredible performances, great food, and a sense of community that only small towns can offer.”
