Remember the Dutch farmer protests, where those farmers not wanting their land confiscated or immense “environmental” burdens foisted upon them started causing chaos by spraying cops with manure, blocking the streets with their tractors, and sent a bombshell blonde to talk to Tucker about it?
🇳🇱 I’ll be going live on @TuckerCarlson tonight to discuss the criminal expropriation of the Dutch farmers by our government. I’ll be wearing a red handkerchief – which has become the symbol of their resistance – as a sign of my full support for them. #DutchFarmers #boerenprotest pic.twitter.com/IF3KZjIa6A

Well, they just won a huge electoral victory over their government overlords. The populist, pro-farmer party that rose to prominence in the wake of the revolt against the globalists, FarmerCitizenMovement (BBB), just shook the foundations of Dutch politics by securing a significant victory in Wednesday’s provincial elections.
That victory came thanks to growing resentment against the globalist-minded government of the current Prime Minister, Mark Rutte. Particularly, farmers were infuriated by his plans to introduce Great Reset-style environmental policies.
“People, what the fuck happened?” exclaimed the leader of the BBB, Caroline van der Plas. Thaat comment came during a victory speech she gave on Wednesday evening as her three-year-old party saw huge gains, the largest of any party, in the provincial elections. Those victories at the provincial level will determine the composition of the Dutch Senate.
Breitbart, reporting on the shocking scale of the BBB’s overnight victory, said:
The BoerBurgerBeweging (FarmerCitizenMovement) dominated voting in rural areas of the country largely as a result of anger towards the government’s plans to impose EU-driven regulations on farming, particularly the use of nitrogen fertilisers, which many farmers have warned will put them out of business.
At the time of this reporting, BBB is expected to pick up an astonishing 16 seats in the 75-seat Senate, after previously holding zero. With 94 per cent of the vote counted, turnout is projected to have been around  57.5 per cent, the highest since the 1980s.
The chairman of the Agriculture and Horticultural Organization Netherlands (LTO), Sjaak van der Tak, commented on the shock election results and added that they might mean the globalist government shifts course on important issues like nitrogen regulation, the original cause of the protests, saying “Voters gave the cabinet and therefore the coalition a huge blow and that requires a real change of course with finding support for the big plans, such as nitrogen.”
Breitbart reported on the nitrogen issue as well, saying “The driving factor for the groundswell of support for the pro-farming party was opposition to the government’s plans to implement mandated cuts on the use of nitrogen fertilisers by as much as 70 per cent in some areas of the country by the end of the decade, with 92 per cent of BBB voters citing the policy as a motivating factor for their vote.”
What remains to be seen, however, is if BBB can turn this groundswell of support and electoral victory into tangible victories for the farmers and disgruntled Netherlanders that elected them, or if it will be Deep Sixed by the globalist deep state in the Netherlands, much like happened to the Trump presidency thanks to Deep State agents. Perhaps if political solutions fail they’ll get back to dousing their political enemies in manure, which would be better than pretending like “democracy” is the solution to the globalist problem.
