Freshman Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL), known for strong support of Israel and opposition to Islam, told Axios he is “actively considering” introducing a resolution to expel Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from Congress. For context, the move stems from Omar’s campaign fundraising email calling Fine a “disgusting, violent racist” unfit for office and urging his removal over his calls to “destroy” mainstream Muslims.
Fighting back, Fine made allegations against Omar and her alleged “embrace of Muslim terror.” Omar dismissed the threat, saying no one takes Fine seriously, and refused to take accountability for her divisive rhetoric.
Starting off his argument, Rep. Randy Fine said, “I don’t think she should be a citizen, let alone a member of Congress.” Additionally, he noted, “I won’t send out fundraising emails calling for her expulsion. If I’m going to do that, you will see me bring the piece of paper. And I am actively considering that.”
Reacting, Rep. Ilhan Omar whined, “I don’t think anybody takes that man serious.” Additionally, in a campaign email, Omar complained, “Randy Fine is a disgusting, violent racist who is unfit for office. He should be removed from Congress.”
Doubling down on her extreme rhetoric, she alleged, “He has called Ilhan a ‘Muslim terrorist’ and issued a thinly-veiled death threat. He’s moved to try to denaturalize (New York City Mayor-elect) Zohran Mamdani, and has threatened the same towards Ilhan.” The email said that Fine’s comments, “lets the mask slip fully off” and counts as a “plainly genocidal statement.”
In a House committee hearing, about so-called mainstream Muslims, Fine noted, “I don’t know how you make peace with those who seek your destruction, I think you destroy them first.” In another statement online, the Florida Republican said, “It is time for a Muslim travel ban, radical deportations of all mainstream Muslim legal and illegal immigrants, and citizenship revocations wherever possible.”
He kept up the pressure on X. “Mainstream Muslims have declared war on us. The least we can do is kick them the hell out of America,” Fine declared, “Ilhan Omar just called for my expulsion from Congress. Apparently, her Muslim terrorist pals and Somali scam freeloaders aren’t happy. Good. I’ve got three words for Ilhan. Go for it.”

Melting down in reaction to this argument, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a statement which read, “If any elected official had called for the genocide of all ‘mainstream Jews’ or ‘mainstream Christians,’ their career would rightfully be over.”
“Although Mr. Fine has made hateful and genocidal remarks in the past, his explicit call for the destruction of all ‘mainstream Muslims’ leaves no doubt that he is a bigoted sociopath unworthy of a seat in Congress. Every leader and member of the U.S. House of Representatives must condemn Randy Fine and demand his resignation,” the left-wing NGO alleged.
As we reported at the American Tribune, Fine has recently moved to prevent non-citizens, like many involved in the Somali fraud ring, from collecting welfare. “I am going to introduce a bill to ban all non-citizens from any form of welfare. No Food Stamps. No Section 8 housing. No Medicaid. No Cash Assistance. Not one penny. Not one. If you want free stuff, go home,” the republican said.
