In some massive news for those keeping up with the steady drip of jaw-dropping information regarding the Russia Hoax that the Trump Administration has released, it came out on Wednesday, July 31, that the FBI had discovered a so-called “burn bag” full of documents that connected failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to the FBI in the Russia Hoax scandal.
Such was revealed in a press release put out by the office of Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IO). In the statement, the office revealed a classified collection of documents related to the Durham Report and investigation that went nowhere, noting that the documents tie Clinton to the FBI.
Describing what is shown in the Durham Annex, which was reportedly found by FBI Director Kash Patel in the “burn bags” that the government uses to destroy classified information, the press release noted that “The Durham annex contains previously classified information exposing a reported Clinton campaign plan to falsely tie President Donald Trump to Russia.”
Giving specific examples of that alleged Clinton campaign conspiracy to falsely connect Trump to Russia, the press release noted, “The annex also goes into further detail on matters discussed in the Unclassified Report, specifically: Potential election influence by a foreign government regarding Hillary Clinton; False statements to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA court) regarding FISA renewal applications for Carter Page; The FBI’s failure – under the leadership of then-Director James Comey – to investigate intelligence that the Clinton campaign may have created the Russia collusion hoax. Meanwhile the Comey-led FBI used the Steele Dossier – a Clinton campaign creation – to obtain FISA warrants on Carter Page.”
Further, the press release noted that the annex was released at Chariman Grassley’s request, with the chairman explaining, when he demanded the release of the Durham Annex, “the overriding public interest demands the release of this information, and doing so would benefit public transparency and accountability.”
Chairman Grassley also said, explaining what happened during the 2016 saga that is so concerning, “Based on the Durham annex, the Obama FBI failed to adequately review and investigate intelligence reports showing the Clinton campaign may have been ginning up the fake Trump-Russia narrative for Clinton’s political gain, which was ultimately done through the Steele Dossier and other means. These intelligence reports and related records, whether true or false, were buried for years. History will show that the Obama and Biden administration’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump.”
Continuing, he explained just how dangerous this sort of behavior is, as it weakens the public’s faith in the government. He said, “This political weaponization has caused critical damage to our institutions and is one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history. The new Trump administration has a tremendous responsibility to the American people to fix the damage done and do so with maximum speed and transparency.”

He further added that, as a result, the public needs to be fully informed of what happened and he will do his best to make that happen, saying, “For years, I’ve fought to assemble and publicize all the facts surrounding Durham’s investigation, Crossfire Hurricane and related matters. The American people shouldn’t be shortchanged or strung out on matters of significant public interest, and that firm belief fuels my tireless oversight.”
He concluded, “It’s been a refreshing change to see Attorney General Bondi and Director Patel’s increased efforts to bring transparency to a very dark corner of the people’s government. I hope that attitude continues, and you can be sure my oversight work will continue as well, because there’s much work yet to be done.”
Commenting to Fox News on how the annex was discovered in “burn bags” by the FBI Director and on what this shows about the various officials involved in the incident, a source in the FBI said, “Mere days after this intelligence was collected, the FBI launched Crossfire Hurricane. It’s really hard to see how Brennan, Clapper and Comey are going to be able to explain this away.”
