According to a recent report and confirmation from Customs and Border Patrol, the situation at the border has grown all the more dire, as three migrants just approached the border with tuberculosis. The migrants apparently arrived in the El Paso border crossing area.
For reference, tuberculosis is a bacteria-based illness that targets the lungs, is often deadly, and is, as a respiratory disease, extremely communicable. Mainly stamped out in the United States and other developed nations thanks to vaccination campaigns and a better understanding of how to prevent and treat bacteriological diseases, it still festers in less developed regions.
In any case, the situation at the border was announced by Fox News National Correspondent Griff Jenkins, who said, “BREAKING: CBP sources confirm to FOX News that there are ** three confirmed cases of Tuberculosis ** among migrants in the El Paso sector… further complicating the already daunting task of managing an overwhelming number arriving daily @FoxNews”

The tuberculosis situation comes alongside a flood of humanity pressing against the border, frequently making their way across it, as the weather cools off and the border authorities seem unable or unwilling to defend the border from the massive waves of migrants rolling across it.
Commenting on the situation, former acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan cast doubt on the low number of border crossers cited by the Biden Administration, saying, “They’re wanting to convince the American people because for a 30-day period they saw a momentary dip in time and they were going out there professing how successful they are because they have momentary decline in only one demographic, and that was only on the southwest border and that was only for Border Patrol apprehensions.”
Meanwhile, the White House continues to insist that it is effectively defending the border and “stopping the flow” of migrants across it. Such is what White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre said in a recent, contentious press briefing,
Arguing with Fox News Channel’s Peter Doocy, she snapped, “We are stopping the flow at the border. If anything, what the president has been able to do on his own, without the help of Republicans in Congress, something that he had to do on his own again, because Republicans refuse to give the funding necessary to deal with the situation, a broken immigration system that has been broken for decades.”
Continuing, she added that Biden is taking the situation more seriously than Republicans, snapping, “What they choose to do is play politics, but the person, the president, has put a plan that is indeed the data, showing is that it is indeed stopping, slowing down the flow of unlawful migration, and that is because of the work that this present continues to do without the help of Republicans.”
However, as videos emerge on Elon Musk-owned X (formerly Twitter) of massive columns of migrants headed toward and across the border, the Administration’s claims have grown even less believable than usual and are doubted by many who have seen the distressing footage.
