Ripping into former Speaker of the House Nasty Nancy Pelosi with a vengeance during a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives, recently re-elected (by a razor-thin margin) Rep. Lauren Boebert said that the American people had “fired” Pelosi, attempting to humiliate her now that the GOP has taken control of that chamber of the legislature.
Attacking Pelosi during the speech, Rep. Boebert first said “The American people have spoken. They have fired you and have chosen to end the Democrats’ one-party rule throughout our government.”
Continuing, Rep. Boebert went on to emphasize what changes to the legislature she hopes occur now that Pelosi is out of leadership, saying “The days of this chamber being treated as Pelosi’s house instead of the people’s house are over. The American people will once again be allowed into this chamber to see their representatives at work.”
She then added that Republicans need to follow up on the promises they made while on the campaign trail, saying “Republicans made a lot of promises on the campaign trail. It’s time we make good on those promises.”
And what are those promises? What is it that Republicans must do? Well she got into that too, saying:
“We must defund the 87,000 IRS agents that the Democrats hired, increase domestic energy production, get to the bottom of Hunter Biden’s corruption, and, of course, the big guy, who is at least compromised by 10%. Republicans across America ran on these policies. God help us if we fail to deliver.”
Moving on from demanding her fellow Republicans step up and start fighting for their campaign promises to pointing out the vicious, unfair ways in which the Democrats have attacked her, saying:
“I have been accused of just about every mass shooting there has been since the Left has learned of my name. Whether it’s Uvalde, or the King Soopers shooting in Boulder, Colorado, or the Buffalo, New York shooting. Or even Paul Pelosi getting hammered. I have been blamed for all of that.
“I think the Left is pissed I won my election. And so they’re trying to find something to go after me about. I expressed my concern for the family, for the victims. And the way that they came after me is absolutely disgusting.”

California Rep. Nancy Pelosi announced that she would be leaving leadership for the Democrats but keeping her seat in the House after Democrats lost control of that body of the legislature, saying:
“There is no greater official honor for me than to stand on this floor and to speak for the people of San Francisco.
“This I will continue to do as a member of the House speaking for the people of San Francisco, serving the great state of California and defending our Constitution and with great confidence in our caucus, I will not seek re-election to Democratic leadership in the next Congress.
“I am grateful that so many are ready and willing to shoulder this awesome responsibility. I am endlessly grateful for all of life’s blessings.”
