This week, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida submitted a House Resolution to remove Rep. Adam Schiff from Congress after the Special Counsel John Durham’s report. The report revealed Schiff’s alleged involvement in illegal spying on the President of the United States.
Rep. Luna tweeted, “Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars. He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives.”

Twitter users weighed in with praise in the comments section of the post. One user said, “It’s good that you’re calling the treasonous liar Schiff out and hopefully you get to vote on it, but two-thirds of the members will not vote for it. Dems love their liars like him and Biden too much.” Another said, “THANK YOU Rep Anna Paulina Luna for calling for the removal of Adam Schiff for dishonorable conduct.”
Another person commented, “Honestly, this man belongs in prison. What they penetrated on Trump and his family, friends and everybody involved on his team it’s shameful it’s disgraceful and I’m sure they don’t want an apology because I don’t want an apology. I want people to be held accountable.”
One person added, “I want him out of congress, too, but he’s now running for the senate. Use your power to keep him off committees. This act will get his voting base (I know! How can that be?) to come out all the stronger to vote for him in 2024.”
The DC Enquirer reported on the findings from the Durham probe:
The over 300-page report was a bombshell, completely shutting down the hoax of Former President Donald Trump’s potential collusion with Russia, but also served to make the public aware of the illegal spying done by the Department of Justice and the FBI, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.
The report from Durham also revealed that Rep. Schiff and Senator Jack Reed (D-R.I.) attempted to get university researchers to investigate claims of then-President Trump’s ties to Russia through Alfa Bank.
In the pages, it is revealed that two researchers from a university met with staffers at the Capitol in November 2018 in a conference room that belonged to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which Schiff would go on to be the chair of in the 117th Congress.
“After arriving in the HPSCI secure conference room, Reed Staffer-2 introduced University-I Researcher-3 and University-I Researcher-2 to several HPSCI staffers. During the meeting, University-! Researcher-3 and University-I Researcher-2 began to provide a similar presentation to that which they had given to the Senate staffers,” the Durham report read. “Soon after the start of the presentation, however, the Committee staffers cut University-I Researcher-3 off and showed him and University- I Researcher-2 a news article about Trump, Russia, and Alfa Bank that University-I Researcher-3 had not seen previously. The staffers asked University-I Researcher-3 to read the article and said they wanted University-1 ‘s help with the matter, and Reed Staffer-2 said University-I Researcher-3 ‘… could make it easier.”
