Registered Republican Sydney Sweeney Breaks The Internet with Another Unapologetic American Eagle Jeans Ad

Actress and American icon Sydney Sweeney has released yet another ad for American Eagle jeans and it’s turning heads all across the world, months after her initial ad campaign caused liberal heads to explode. The Euphoria star’s latest ad, part of the “Syd for Short: American Eagle Jean Shorts” campaign, features the “it” girl soaking in the sun in a fitted t-shirt and light denim jean shorts.

The new ad is being described as putting forward a more relaxed, laid-back persona. In a video modeling the shorts, Sweeney is heard saying, “What brand am I wearing? Yeah, that one. There’s something timeless about a great pair of jean shorts. They’re simple, but they make you feel confident and put-together without trying too hard.”

Specific pieces in Sweeney’s collection feature a butterfly design in honor of domestic violence survivors, with 100% of the proceeds from the “Syd Jean” and “Syd Short” going to the Crisis Text Line to financially support the 24/7 mental health support services the organization provides. “Crisis Text Line, a cause so close to my heart, has been a part of this partnership from the beginning,” the Christy actress said.

“I love knowing that when everyone wears these pieces, they are also a part of something meaningful that directly helps people who need it,” she added. The new ad campaign comes after the controversial “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans Campaign” that sparked massive left-wing backlash from liberals who claimed the tagline promoted white supremacy.

According to a report from Fox News, the hate the ad received even caught Sweeney off guard. “I was honestly surprised by the reaction,” she had told People at the time. “I did it because I love the jeans and love the brand. I don’t support the views some people chose to connect to the campaign. Many have assigned motives and labels to me that just aren’t true.”

“Anyone who knows me knows that I’m always trying to bring people together. I’m against hate and divisiveness,” she added. As previously reported by The American Tribune, Sweeney was praised at the time by President Donald Trump after discovering she was a registered Republican. “Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ’em Sydney!” Trump said, going on to add, “On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad?”

Commenters on social media platform Facebook were very enthusiastic about the new ad. One woman said, “I just saw The Housemaid. She does have good genes. Why can’t women just say when someone is pretty instead of putting them down?” Another commenter humorously wrote, “I’m torn. When I’m reincarnated, do I wanna come back as her shorts or her shirt?”

Surprisingly, another woman said that she would like to see Sweeney painted on U.S. fighter jets the way pinup girls were during World War II. “I would love to see her painted on the nose of one of our battle-tested aircraft. Yes, I know, it causes problems making the plane more visible, but Iran’s systems are dead in the water. And honestly, even as a meme, it would drive the libs insane and that’s more entertaining than anything else out there.”
