Red State RINO Gets Terrible News as Trump Ally Looks Poised to Unseat Him

Things are going from bad to worse for notorious Texas RINO Senator John Cornyn, a supposed Republican who is known mainly for attempting to work with Democrats on all manner of policies hostile to his voting base and Republicans generally, such as an infamous gun control bill that was fortunately deep-sixed by Republicans during the Biden presidency.

While Sen. Cornyn took much heat for the gun control bill, he’s gotten far worse news now than long-simmering anger: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is not only primarying him, but looks poised to win the primary battle by a wide margin as Texas Republicans vent their frustration against his betrayals of them.

Such is what the Paxton campaign noted in a press release noting that the Texas AG had not only managed to outraise Sen. Cornyn, the incumbent who theoretically should be able to raise more, by a notable amount, but had managed to outraise any incumbent GOP Senator in America who is up for re-election this cycle.

Beginning, the Paxton campaign press release trotted out a nickname for the incumbent and commented on the campaign fundraising details, saying, “Ken Paxton not only outraised ‘Little John’ Cornyn by $2.1 million in Q2, but Paxton’s campaign committee raised more than any other in-cycle GOP Senate incumbent across the country last quarter.”

Commenting on what the numbers show in a press release, AG Paxton argued that they show a clear picture of how frustrated Republican voters are with RINOs. He said, “The fundraising numbers paint a very clear picture. The movement to fire John Cornyn has more enthusiasm right now than any other Senate campaign in America.”

Continuing, the AG argued that Cornyn is desperately lying about his terrible fundraising numbers in an attempt to make his campaing look more promising, saying, “There’s nothing about the lies that ‘Little John’ fed the media on Monday that can change the fact that his campaign committee couldn’t even raise $1 million last quarter, let alone the $3.9 million he claimed.”

Concluding, Paxton encouraged the media to press Sen. Cornyn on his lies and how poorly his campaign is going, saying, “I’d encourage every reporter in America right now to reach out to John Cornyn to ask him this simple question: Are you really that bad at math or did you purposely mislead the public about the truth?”

Indicating why voters are backing AG Paxton instead of Sen. Cornyn, a commenter on a post highlighting the fact wrote, “John Cornyn knowingly threw 2A under the bus in 2022 by taking the lead on the Bipartisan gun control law, which gave Biden a huge victory over 2A. This was not a mistake but a betrayal. I forgive mistakes but not treason.”

In a post of his own about how things are going, AG Paxton noted that Sen. Cornyn’s attacks on him, particularly from the electability angle, show that he is getting desperate, writing, “John Cornyn is getting desperate, and everyone in DC knows it. He’s attacking me with the same arguments he used to try and take down President Trump, and he’s just as wrong now as he was then.”
