Footage from earlier this year recently resurfaced on social media showing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban presenting a beautiful bouquet of flowers to Melania Trump during an event at Mar-a-Lago. As the 1964 hit from Roy Orbison, “Pretty Woman,” played over the loudspeakers, Orban presented the arrangement to Melania, who was visibly surprised by the gift.
The FLOTUS Report X account uploaded the footage, with the caption “The Prime Minister of Hungary. @PM_ViktorOrban, gifts Melania Trump with a beautiful bouquet of flowers tonight at Mar-a-Lago.” The clip received an outpouring of praise toward the former first lady in the comments section of the post.
One person wrote, “Ah the good old days A beautiful real First Lady Not complicit in the downfall of this country.” Another added, “Have you considered..(I have) that our Melania Trump does not have to genuflect to any leader of any country. She is a self assured woman who knows her value and is intelligent enough to stand her ground. She is the best representative we have had in many years.”
One user compared Melania’s impeccable taste of style to that of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, stating, “Class and grace … not since Jackie O If Melania’s name wasn’t Trump, the press would’ve been tripping all over themselves oozing with praise. Their minds are too dark for that. Better for you they don’t.”
The American Tribune reported on comments from earlier this year by former President Trump about Melania making more public appearances for his campaign ahead of the upcoming election. However, Trump noted that his wife tends to be more private, away from the public eye, despite her high-profile career as a model.
Trump explained, “It’s funny, she was a very successful model, very, very successful, and yet she was a private person. She’s going to be out a lot. Not because she likes doing it, but she likes the results.” He said, “She wants to see this country really succeed. She loves the country.” He also added, “Melania is a brilliant person. Her life revolves around Barron and the success of our country.”
The Tribune also reported on Trump recalling how Melania reacted to the assassination attempt against him last month during a recent interview. The former president stated, “And she was watching. I asked her that. I mean, I wasn’t there, I was on the ground, and when the world started to like. .. you could talk to people, I said, ‘so what was your feeling?’ And, she can’t really even talk about it, which is okay, because that means she likes me or she loves me.”

He continued, “I mean, let’s say she could talk about it freely…that wouldn’t be … I’m not so sure which is better, but she the likes or loves me, and that’s nice,” Trump said. “But I will say this look. When I went down, she thought the worst had happened, because I went down and grabbed my and I saw it was my hand was loaded up with blood. You see it in slow motion, instant replay.
