Support is growing for former president Donald Trump. Perhaps people are starting to wake up and take note of the deterioration of our major American cities. Places like Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York are dangerous shells of their former selves.
Perhaps also, folks are taking note of the economy and the high inflation, high energy costs, and the overall decline in the value of the dollar. Or it could be the fact that the world is teetering on the brink of global conflict, largely in part due to the weak foreign policy displayed by the current administration.
This isn’t to mention the flood of illegal immigrants overburdening our Southern border and stretching the limits of some American cities. Needless to say, things are going to hell in the proverbial handbasket, and celebrities are joining regular Americans looking for any other option than Joe Biden.
The list of actors, entertainers, and athletes supporting former President Trump is already long and seems to grow by the day. Supporters include the late actresses Suzanne Somers and Kirstie Alley, 50 Cent, Dennis and Randy Quaid, Kid Rock, John Rich, Jon Voight, James Woods, and scores of others.
Now, a most unusual supporter has revealed his choice on social media. Waka Flocka Flame, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, has tossed his support behind President Trump with a recent post on social media.
On Monday, Woko Flocka Flame let his more than 1 million X followers know that he supports Trump for a second term when he posted “Trump2024” to his account. The endorsement comes as the Biden administration continues to hemorrhage large numbers of black voters, particularly in poor, urban areas.
Many black Americans are upset with Joe Biden and his failing border policies as record numbers of migrants flood large American cities, often to urban areas. Migrants receive benefits that aren’t available to U.S. citizens, and many in places like Chicago are fed up.
A recent poll found that most Chicagoans want an end to the sanctuary city policies that force taxpayers to shoulder the burden of housing, feeding, and providing medical care to illegal aliens who come to the city. While white, liberal voters want the policies kept in place, only 31 percent of black voters and 38 percent of Hispanic voters favor continuing the sanctuary policies crippling their city.
Mainstream media reports recently show that many Democrats fear they are losing the black vote, with Trump picking up considerable steam in the demographic. Further endorsements by black celebrities like Woko Flocka Flame only serve to stoke that fear.
Reaction on X was mixed, of course, with many folks applauding the rapper for supporting Trump while others were critical. Republican congressional candidate for Florida’s 24th district Lavern Spicer wrote “Respect” while conservative political activist Ryan Fournier said, “This is the way!”
On the negative side, one person wrote, “Bruh ….this is not where it’s at,” while a second asked: “Anything to stay relevant huh?” and a third added: “There are better options….”
Despite the potential legal woes President Trump faces, he continues to pick up support from the black community as well as across all demographics. As people grow weary of Joe Biden and afraid of further global conflict, many are turning to the alternative, including Woko Flocka Flame.
