Fox News liberal commentator and co-host of “The Five,” Jessica Tarlov, is apparently none too happy about the praise that former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt received after she announced she was stepping down from the position in order to spend more time with her young family. During a segment on “The Five,” Tarlov raked Leavitt over the coals, accusing her of being a liar and dodging hard questions.
However, folks on social media weren’t having it, commenting on a video clip of the segment and ripping Tarlov apart for her comments. Tarlov started off by talking about how the time served as press secretary seems to be getting shorter. “So having two little kids, I can’t even imagine. Mine are even older than that in my job, way less demanding.”
“It is very hard to do. The stints for White House press secretaries have been getting shorter and shorter. So she’s at 19 months. Karine Jean Pierre did two and a half, but then Jen Psaki was less than that. So I don’t think there’s anything suspicious going. I was surprised that he didn’t want to have her stay, and maybe she just said no. But through the midterms, because I think that she has certainly proven herself to him as someone who does his bidding very well?” she continued.
Tarlov then accused Leavitt of dodging, then attacking her opponents and obfuscating the truth. “You know, she dodges, she attacks, she obfuscates. I think that the glowing reports about how well that she did, when a lot of it was just demeaning the press and taking this reasonable question,” she said. “But then making it out like people are insane is not what you wanted in a press secretary, and I did want to review some of the mistruths, lies, whatever it was, from the podium.”
The token liberal commentator then provided a few examples of times that Leavitt allegedly obfuscated the truth. “U.S. spending $50 million on condoms for Gaza. The Epstein files are a democratic hoax. There are no war plans sent in the signal chat with Jeffrey Goldberg. Kilmar Abrego Garcia was a gang member. Then, producing no evidence of it, America is becoming more affordable under Trump, and that the federal aid freeze won’t affect any individuals. That’s just a small little list. But if only they were acting,” she concluded.
Users on social media platform X wasted no time in taking Tarlov to the woodshed. One user wrote, “Tarlov is the poster child of nasty white liberal women.” Another user said, “One of many reasons why I call her whiny girl.” One user stated, “That’s rich coming from @JessicaTarlov who literally lies about everything intentionally.”

I guess Tarlov just forgot FOUR full years of Biden’s press secretaries LYING to the American people about Biden’s senility, inflation was transitory, the border is secure, cheap fakes, Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation, Russiagate, and who could forget their claim that the evacuation of Afghanistan was a major success. But to liars like Tarlov, they conveniently forget all of this,” someone else wrote.

“Karoline is a petite beautiful 28 year old blonde. Jessica is like 40 and 7 feet tall with glasses. Women are so obvious,” one user said. Someone else noted that Tarlov is clearly jealous of Leavitt. “Jessica Tarlov is wicked jealous of Karoline Leavitt. Karoline is awesome – it makes Jessica really mad,” the user went on to write.
