Pop Star Hayley Williams Goes on Vulgar Anti-ICE Tirade, Gets Absolutely Wrecked by the Internet

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams launched a profanity-filled attack on the Department of Homeland Security after the agency defended federal immigration officers, and critics online wasted little time firing back. The singer’s obscene Instagram response followed weeks of anti-ICE declarations during her solo tour. Her latest outburst also arrived amid a broader run of political statements targeting President Donald Trump, Republican voters, and Christian nationalism.

The confrontation began after Williams performed “Ice in My OJ” during a concert in Chula Vista, California. While performing the song, she paused to shout, “F— ICE,” and also exclaimed, “Free motherf—— Palestine!” Similar remarks have become a recurring part of her recent performances, with Williams incorporating political declarations into her solo tour.

DHS responded after Fox News Digital requested comment on the singer’s remarks. “America is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe,” a department spokesperson said. “We suggest Ms. Williams to thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice.” The department’s statement defended the officers responsible for carrying out federal immigration enforcement operations.

As Fox News reported, Williams answered the department with another obscenity-filled rant. She posted a screenshot of the DHS statement to her Instagram Story before adding her response. “And may I suggest all Nazi b—— suck on my fat d—,” she wrote. Fox News Digital contacted DHS about Williams’ latest comments but didn’t immediately receive an additional response.

The department’s response came as it reported a steep increase in assaults against ICE personnel. According to DHS data, the agency recorded 647 assaults between January 20th, 2025, and September 20th, 2026, compared with 37 during the corresponding period from January 20th, 2021, through September 20th, 2022. The agency described that as a 1,649% increase. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said, “The brave men and women of ICE, who are simply enforcing the laws mandated by Congress and protecting the American people, are under attack every single day.”

Williams has made several other political declarations during her current run of shows. Before performing “True Believer” at a September concert at Forest Hills Stadium in New York, she told the audience, “The greatest threat to American democracy is Christian nationalism.” During Paramore’s 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival performance, she urged Americans to vote against Trump. At a 2023 performance, she told supporters of then-presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, “If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re f—— dead to me.”

During the 2024 festival appearance, Williams claimed that “Project 2025 is Donald Trump’s playbook for controlling and punishing women, poor people, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community.” She urged Americans to “finally defeat the Trump agenda” by confronting Trump at the polls. Williams then asked the audience, “Do you want to live in a dictatorship?” before telling viewers to vote.

Critics on X seized on that wider pattern of political commentary. Libs of TikTok said, “Singer Hayley Williams says the biggest threat to democracy is Christians. What an absolute loser.” Another user, reacting to entertainers who deliver political speeches, commented, “I can’t stand our virtue signaling ‘entertainers.’ They need to stfu and juggle.”

Other users replied directly beneath a widely viewed clip of Williams’ concert remarks. “Perhaps Afghanistan, Palestine, Pakistan, Iran, is better suited for her?” one critic added. Another said, “She should go live in Palestine then??? Since there isn’t any Christians there!”
