New reports have emerged that the nation of Israel shared intelligence with the United States that revealed a new plot by Iran to assassinate President Donald Trump. Not long after the plot was uncovered, Trump took to Truth Social and warned the Muslim nation that should they try to kill him or, God forbid, succeed in the attempt, the consequences for their actions would be severe.
The warning about this potential new threat came as tensions have continued to increase between Washington and Tehran as the Iran war effort rages on. Several sources spoke with CNN concerning the warnings, stating that some U.S. officials think the intelligence could have been an attempt to influence Trump’s thinking about whether to escalate military action against Iran.
President Trump’s relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has become strained in recent weeks due to differences of opinion over the future of the war. A phone call between the two world leaders grew heated when Trump referred to Netanyahu as “crazy.” The prime minister has issued calls for increased military intervention in the Middle East, while Trump worked to preserve a ceasefire agreement.
Responding to the potential threat on his life, Trump took to Truth Social where he said, “1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!”
“Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran – PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!” Trump concluded his post. The president also referred to himself as the “No. 1 target” of the radical Islamic regime in Iran. “I’m on every list. I saw this morning, I’m on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I’ve been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn’t last very long,” he told reporters.
According to information gleaned from a video posted by Fox News, Netanyahu, who spoke with President Trump by phone once again, urged him not to sell F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, claiming that doing so would further upset the balance of power in the Middle East, citing comments made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan against the existence of Israel as a country.
A report from The Hill stated that the intelligence information revealing the possible assassination plot comes hot on the heels of a funeral procession that was held recently for slain Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, where his followers chanted, “Death to America,” and a banner was put on display on the streets saying, “We Will Kill Trump.”

The comment section of Trump’s Truth Social post was supportive of the president and many issued warning to Iran themselves. “Iran you’re NOT dealing with a career politician who doesn’t have the stones to follow through with his threats! You’re dealing with the most Badass President who has The Peoples Backing to follow through with his threats!” one person wrote.
