PHOTO: Heartwarming Photos of President Trump Walking with Elon Musk’s Son “Lil X,” Helping Him into Helicopter Go Viral Online

Heartwarming pictures of President Donald Trump walking alongside Elon Musk’s young son to Marine Force One, the presidential helicopter, went viral online when posted by the White House during the evening on Friday, March 14. The post has received over four and a half million impressions as of the time this article was written, with many commenters noting how sweet it was.

Musk’s son, X Æ A-Xii Musk, who is often referred to as “X” or “Lil’ X” by those who don’t want to say his full, difficult-to-pronounce name, is the son of Elon Musk and Canadian musician Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher. He was born in May of 2020, the height of the Covid panic, and caused a stir given his unconventional name and spelling.

Originally, he was named X Æ A-12. However, because of California regulations regarding the spelling of names for birth certificates, it was changed to the current, X Æ A-Xii. Explaining how to pronounce the name during an old Joe Rogan episode, Elon said, “It’s just X, the letter X. Then ‘Æ’ is pronounced ‘Ash,’ and ‘A-12’ was my contribution.” The A-12 is the supersonic plane, also called the SR-71 Blackbird, that was built for the CIA by Lockheed Martin. It is a technological marvel that Musk finds fascinating.

In any case, the image itself was posted to X by the official White House X account, which posted it with the caption “President Trump & Lil X 🇺🇸 @elonmusk.” The sweet photo shows President Trump giving his classic thumbs up gesture as “Lil X” happily smiles at the cameras and walks in a coat with sleeves so long they cover his hands. Here it is:

Commenters loved the photo and chimed in to comment on how cool Lil X’s life is. One commenter on the White House’s post, for instance, wrote, “This kid has an innovative billionaire dad and a play uncle who is President! How much better can life get?” Another said, “This little guy’s life is already one for the books. What a ride!”

Still another commenter chimed in to say that Trump really does well in the grandpa role, writing, “Grandpa Trump is one of his strongest forms.” On much the same note, a different commenter added that Trump is filling in in the grandpa role, saying, “Awww he’s the grandpa he doesn’t have! I love this so much for Lil X and @POTUS!” Another commenter said, “Pretty cute sidekick.” Yet another commenter, the very popular “Clown World” X account, said, “I love this pic! lil X looks so happy 😊”

A video of the sweet moment emerged as well. Commenting on it was Nick Sortor, a popular conservative personality on X. He said, “🚨 NOW: President Trump just boarded Marine One with Elon Musk’s son, Lil X. The little guy looks so freaking excited while jumping around next to Trump! 😆 Trump then helped Lil X on the helicopter, and Elon followed shortly after.” Watch the two walk to Marine Force One together here:

Another poster commented on the sweet moment in which Trump helped Lil X into the helicopter, saying, “This photo is going viral of President Trump helping Elon Musk’s son X up the stairs to Marine One. Democrats say Trump has been demoted to being “Lil X’s nanny.” I, for one, find it admirable that the president of the United States shows his grandfatherly instincts. There is nothing wrong with this.”
