Democrats are signaling their eagerness to tackle the infamous Epstein files, claiming they want answers about the withheld records and will take action to gain access to that information should they pull off a major victory in the November midterm elections and take control over Congress. One individual who would seemingly be tickled pink by such a development is actor Robert De Niro.
De Niro, an incredibly outspoken opponent of the president, recently spoke at an event held in New York City, where the “Meet the Parents” actor gave an address aimed at several women who have come forward claiming to be victims of sexual abuse at the hands of disgraced (and deceased) billionaire pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
The actor questioned why the Trump administration has not, at this point, released all of the records pertaining to Epstein, his crimes, and those whom he associated with, noting that President Trump and many of his own associates appear numerous times in the already made public documents. To make his point more clearly, the “Godfather Part II” actor decided to compare those mentions to the number of times Jesus Christ is referenced in the Holy Bible.
“In the entire New Testament, there are just under 1,000 mentions of Jesus. In the first half of the Epstein files, there are 38,000 mentions of Trump, his family, and the private club. 38,000. What is he hiding?” the actor asked, according to a report from The Blast. And De Niro, who has a well-established reputation for having a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, wasn’t done there.
Later during the same event, De Niro heaped praise on the survivors for their boldness in condemning the ongoing failure of the administration to release the rest of the files that are connected to Epstein. He later referred to Epstein as a monster, and referred to Trump as the billionaire’s “protector-in-chief.” De Niro accused Trump, along with members of his administration, of trying to block justice in the case.
“One man is standing in the way of releasing the rest: Donald Trump. What is he hiding?” De Niro went on to say while addressing an audience gathered at Washington Square Park. De Niro, who is clearly a Democrat, has been extremely vocal concerning a number of the administration’s policies, especially the SAVE America Act, which would require individuals to provide photo IDs in order to cast a ballot in a race.
The actor accused the administration of trying to “take our votes away,” as they continue to no longer be popular due to being “crazy and cruel.” He then said, “They’re stupider than I ever thought, but they recognize what they’re doing is turning away people. They can’t get voter support. So what do they do? They try to take our votes away. Are you kidding me?”

He later added, “And when that coward, that f-cking piece of sh-t, Donald Trump, tries to take our voice and power away, what do we tell him? Keep your f-cking hands off our vote!” Trump spokesman Davis Ingle issued a statement in response to De Niro’s speech, accusing him of having Trump Derangement Syndrome.
“Robert DeNiro is a washed-up has-been who hasn’t been relevant in 30 years. Now, he just beclowns himself by spewing hate speech and inciting violence against others,” Ingle went on to say in the statement. “Instead of embarrassing himself every time he speaks, he should seek immediate treatment for a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted his peanut-sized brain.”
