“Panic and Lies”: Adam Schiff Called Out for “Panic” after Giving Fear-Filled Interview [WATCH]

In a dramatic segment from a recent appearance on “Meet the Press,” anchor Kristen Welker asked Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) about the FBI’s search of former National Security Adviser John Bolton’s home, and suggested that the investigations should proceed without outside interference.

For context, while reacting to her comments, Schiff melted down in epic fashion, criticising Vice President JD Vance’s denial of political retribution. Schiff rejected Vance’s take, saying it was “clearly retribution” against the prominent Trump critic. Failing to notice the irony of his words, he described a “systemic and systematic” pattern in which the administration deploys federal power to intimidate its opponents.

In any case, Kristen Welker began his comments by describing the FBI raid on Bolton’s home. She said, “Let me ask you about one of the top domestic issues this week, the FBI search of a former national security adviser and ambassador, John Bolton’s home and office.”

Still not done, she continued, “I did have the opportunity to ask the Vice President about this. He rejects the idea that this is political retribution. Do you believe that people need to let this investigation play out and not get ahead of it at this point?”

Clearly worried, the controversial California Democrat resorted to cheap political theatre. He whined, “I think this is clearly retribution, the idea that what they just picked John Bolton, a prominent critic of the President, at random [is wrong.]”

Still not done trying to paint Trump in the worst possible light, Schiff continued to dig. The Senator continued, “What the President is trying to do here is very systemic and systematic, and that is anyone who stands up to the president, anyone who criticized the President, anyone who says anything adverse the President’s interests, gets the full weight of the federal government brought down on them.”

Doubling down on his defence of Bolton, Schiff complained, “So if you’re John Bolton, you get your home seized. If you’re on the Federal Reserve and you won’t lower interest rates, you get threatened with prosecution or with firing.”

Adding to his previous tenuous and unsubstantiated claims, Adam Schiff said, “If you’re a general, like the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency and you issue a report or the agency does casting (sic) doubt on the success of US military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, you get fired. If you are the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and you give a jobs report that the President doesn’t like, you get fired.”

Concluding his biased and politically motivated rant, the California Democrat returned to tired woke talking points. He alleged, “They’re essentially going after any critic, any opposition in an effort to intimidate them. That’s what this is about. It’s not as it’s not about Bolton, per se. It’s about anyone else that like Bolton might stand up to the President.”

Reacting to the wild clip, many conservatives pointed to Schiff’s panicked demeanor and frantic attacks on the Trump administration. One such comment read, “Panic 😱 and lies 🤥- he knows he’s probably next.” Under the same post, another conservative noted, “It couldn’t happen to a more worthy gentleman than this scumbag Schiffhead.”
