Jimmy Kimmel is entirely unaware that his role as a comedian is to make his audience laugh. Kimmel decided it would be a good idea to roast Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who made some waves during his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
The late-night talk show took issue with Rodgers’ insinuation that the recent UFO sightings in North America have been made to cover up the most recent news in the Jeffery Epstein case. According to MSN, Kimmel thinks that Rodgers is being completely absurd, saying:
“All this UFO talk has the tin foil hatters going wild, including wack-Packer Aaron Rodgers who offered this hot take on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’”
Kimmel then showed a clip from an episode of the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ where Rodgers said, “there’s been a few other objects that have been shot down…I believe that this has been going on for a long time interesting timing on everything there’s a lot of other things going on in the world.”
Kimmel, intent on embarrassing Rodgers, then said, “Might be time to revisit that concussion protocol.” Aaron Rodgers’ fellow Packer David Bakhtiari took offense with that line and quickly jumped to the defense of his quarterback with what may be the best comeback in NFL history, Tweeting:
“Tell me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list, without telling me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list….”

This isn’t the first time that Kimmel has come after Aaron Rodgers on air. In 2021, Kimmel said this about Rodgers not receiving the COVID vaccine and telling the media that he was “immunized.”
“Honestly, the only thing worse than not getting vaccinated when you’re in close contact with other people is letting them think you’re vaccinated when you’re not.”
Really Jimmy? That’s the only thing you can come up with that is worse than not getting vaccinated. Kimmel is dead set on becoming the moral compass of late-night tv and lecturing his fans on the right way to conduct their lives within the boundaries of woke culture. Joe Rogan took issue with Kimmel and the hypocrisy that the late-night star has shown throughout his career, according to the American Tribune:
“I mean, he’s done some pretty outrageous s*** back in the day, you know, for hehes and hahas.”
“He’s had a real problem with Elon from the beginning of this, but it’s like he’s in this leftist thought bubble, he’s in the most leftist thought bubble available, which is Hollywood. And, you know, I think also, you know, he famously, there’s some videos of him in blackface and those came out and he had apologized for them. And I think he took that hit and like really doubled down the other direction.”
Rodgers, who has said publicly that he is good friends with Joe Rogan, likely expects to receive plenty of Jimmy Kimmel’s “jokes” since the two seem to be on opposite ends of the political spectrum. When Kimmel sees Rodgers, he sees an opportunity to signal his virtue to his Hollywood bosses, an opportunity that very few Hollywood stars will pass up.
