Now Jimmy Kimmel is “Joking” about Rudy Giuliani’s Death

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is at it again, cracking ill-timed jokes involving the death of someone who is across the political spectrum from him, this time the target of his comedic ire was former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Kimmel made a wisecrack about Giuliani rising from “the grave” just a few days before he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

“Last night, America’s mayor, Rudy Giuliani, rose from the grave to weigh in on the ongoing drama involving me,” Kimmel said during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, making a reference to an earlier episode of the program where he fantasized about President Donald Trump’s death just a few short days before a third assassination attempt on his life during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Kimmel then played a clip of Giuliani talking about him, referring to him as “maybe one of the most distasteful human beings in this country,” before calling him “an incompetent jackass.” The former New York City mayor was reacting to the late-night host describing First Lady Melania Trump as an “expectant widow.” Several days later, Cole Tomas Allen rushed through a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton Hotel with a shotgun, handgun, and several knives.

Allen shot a Secret Service agent, but thankfully, he was wearing a bulletproof vest, which ultimately saved his life. Authorities apprehended Allen before he could hurt anyone else. The suspect has now been charged with attempting to assassinate the president. The comments Kimmel made about Giuliani came just five days before the 81-year-old was rushed to the hospital in critical, but stable condition.

“Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak,” Ted Goodman, a spokesperson for Giuliani, said in a statement on May 3. “We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor — Rudy Giuliani,” the statement read, according to Breitbart News.

Fans and supporters of First Lady Melania Trump have organized a grassroots campaign to boycott advertisers for Kimmel’s late-night program. The effort comes as new reports emerge that say Disney is “ready to pull” the plug on the show due to the host’s continuing string of controversial comments. Following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, ABC pulled Kimmel off the air briefly.

Breitbart’s report on the matter noted that Kimmel seems to have an affinity for making jokes about the death of individuals who are on the opposite side of the political aisle, especially those who have either experienced assassination attempts or already been assassinated. The incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was the third such attempt on President Trump’s life in less than two years.

This sort of reaction has become commonplace among the radical left. Alana Hadid — the sister of Bella and Gigi Hadid — posted a video dancing before a headline that read, “Rudy Giuliani in critical condition in hospital.” Add to that the plethora of happy reaction videos that followed after Kirk’s murder and a clear and frightening pattern emerges.
