As President-elect Donald Trump prepares his highly anticipated return to the White House, some have predicted the incoming administration will uncover the ugly truth when they expose the internal secrets of the deep state. Retired NYPD Executive Intelligence Officer Paul Mauro recently appeared on Fox Business explaining that it’s “not going to be pretty”
Mauro initially pointed out that it’s becoming increasingly apparent that the Trump administration is looking to initiate a probe into the FBI as officials recently ordered the agency to preserve relevant documents. “The Trump administration has signaled that they were not going to be looking to engage in any law bear or these sort of backwards looking investigations, but this looks like they’re quite serious about it,” he said.
“When you put them on notice that they better not destroy any records. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to see some sort of an initiation of a probe here,” he added, pointing out it is obvious what the administration is seeking to accomplish. Furthermore, it was pointed out that the FBI closed down its DEI office just days before the inauguration.
Furthermore, Mauro pointed out that any ensuing investigations would be entirely justified considering the apparent incompetence observed within the FBI over the past few years. “I think it is almost certainly justified in light of the fact that if you look at the FBI history here, over the last four years, we’ve had things like the arrival of Tren de Aragua, where we haven’t had one federal case relative to that agency and that group that I’ve seen. You could have conspiracy cases of all sorts there. They turned a blind eye to that,” he said.
Providing other examples, he said, “At the same time, you have Jewish students on campus who couldn’t even get to class. We saw no federal investigations there. And then we got reporting that Iran, in fact, might have been funding some of the groups that were engaged in that. So when you have that level of reporting, and you have Christopher Ray saying that all the red lights are blinking relative to threats, and yet we’re not getting those kinds of cases.”
Moreover, the retired intelligence officer opined that law enforcement at the federal level has declined to the point where it is no longer focused on enforcing the law. Mauro explained that this agenda comes from the top down and will end very soon as Trump returns to the White House and enacts his agenda.
“Very clearly, our federal law enforcement agencies and some of the local agencies have decided that law enforcement is not their first remit. Social engineering is this stuff that comes from the top when we had a runner list executive. Very clearly it’s going to end up the 20 January. But I think this drone is just beginning, because I’m sure the Trump administration has a good idea of what they’re going to see when they start turning these rocks over. And my gut tells me it’s not going to be pretty,” he said.
