In a real eyebrow-raiser of an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) promised that President Donald Trump will win the Nobel Peace Prize for what he has been able to accomplish in terms of world peace. The appearance in which she guaranteed as much came on the night of Monday, June 23.
As background, President Trump has not only apparently patched together a ceasefire between Israel and Iran after bombing the Iranian nuclear program, but has also patched together peace between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, ending a long-running war in the region that saw massive numbers of deaths.
Britt, commenting on those accomplishments and others during her Monday night appearance on Hannity, explained that she has “no doubt” that he will win the prize for them. She began, “President Trump is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize, no doubt! You look at what he’s done with the Congo and Rwanda.”
Continuing, she noted that he also managed to bring the potentially nuclear India-Pakistan conflict to an end, noting that the Iran-Israel ceasefire is a big deal as well. She said, “You look where he is with Pakistan and India and what he has done there. And then you look at this — what everyone talked about but no one thought was possible.”
Sen. Britt then claimed that those peace deals, particularly in the factious and dangerous Middle East, represent a key foreign policy component of the American First agenda. She claimed, on that note, “He has brought peace to a region that needed stability. He has shown what America First policy actually is.”
Building on that, Britt explained that she thinks the president’s action showed he stands with Americans but is also unafraid to act when necessary. She said, on that point, “We need a president who is unafraid to act and that stands firmly with the American citizens. That’s what we saw today.”
Concluding, she sounded off on the left for not knowing what to say about the president’s peacemaking, telling Hannity, “And look, Democrats don’t know what to say. I mean, their silence has never been louder, if you know what I mean. And I think it’s because President Trump just keeps winning! And they don’t what to do.”

Indicating that he is ready to move back to domestic priorities after dealing with the sitaution abroad, something that would be most welcome to the MAGA Republicans who were upset about yet another intervention abroad, President Trump posted, “Now that we have made PEACE abroad, we must finish the job here at home by passing ‘THE GREAT, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL,’ and getting the Bill to my desk, ASAP. It will be a Historic Present for THE GREAT PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, as we begin the Celebration of our Country’s 250th Birthday.”
He added, commenting on Congress needing to get the deal done and fix the budding issue, “We are finally entering our Golden Age, which will bring unprecedented Safety, Security, and Prosperity for ALL of our Citizens. To my friends in the Senate, lock yourself in a room if you must, don’t go home, and GET THE DEAL DONE THIS WEEK. Work with the House so they can pick it up, and pass it, IMMEDIATELY. NO ONE GOES ON VACATION UNTIL IT’S DONE. Everyone, most importantly the American People, will be much better off thanks to our work together. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
