In a shocking report, it was revealed that controversial billionaire Jeffrey Epstein supported Democratic candidates at more than 8x the rate he did Republicans. For context, Epstein apparently donated to Democrats $147,426 and $18,250 to Republicans since 1990.
For context, recipients included Chuck Schumer, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Bob Dole. However, some of the figures Epstein donated to, like Eliot Spitzer and Bill Clinton, faced their own allegations of sexual misconduct.
In any case. The controversial financier donated $184,276 to politicians across the political spectrum, including several prominent names. However, some of the donations were much smaller and more suspicious. He gave he maximum individual contribution of $5,400 to Delegate Stacey Plaskett, who represents the US Virgin Islands, where his firm was incorporated and his private island was located.
Additionally, he donated a total of $12,600 to Wendolyn Beck, an independent running for Congress from Connecticut in 2014. Apparently, these contributions were in violation of federal election law. Alternatively, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer received over $50,000 in 2006, although his office claims to have returned the funds.
Notorious activist and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) received a substantial gift of $7,000 in a series of yearly installments. Even RINOs, such as George H.W. Bush, received money from Epstein.
Unsurprisingly, the former president Bill Clinton was given thousands of dollars throughout his political career. During his election, Clinton received $2,000, and later, over $25,000 was donated to the Clinton Foundation.
However, some journalists have wondered if influential figures, like those connected to Epstein, may soon face major indictments. As we reported, Journalist Matt Taibbi discussed potential indictments for Obama-era officials exposed in a “treasonous conspiracy” by DNI Tulsi Gabbard and the Trump administration, linked to Russiagate

Beginning his comments, he noted, “I think there are going to be indictments. I was very skeptical on that question, even a couple of weeks ago, but I have heard repeatedly from these folks that they understand that this is not a hearts and minds contest.”
Still not done, he added, “That they are not doing this for show, and that if they don’t end up in a courtroom, that they will this will be a massive political failure for them. So I do think that there will be significant indictments.”
Contextualizing his remarks, Taibbi stated, “But what I’ve what I’ve heard from these folks, is that they understand how that the optics of that and what that looks like to voters, and they are going to try for, I think, something more substantive, even if it comes up short.” Building on this point, he noted, “I keep being told that [Hillary Clinton could end up being prosecuted, and is a target of the investigations].”
Concluding his comments, the journalist said, “I’m not sure I understand how that can be the case, but I keep being told that Hillary Clinton is actually a target in these investigations. It may turn out that something having to do with her original email situation, uh, will be wrapped into some kind of conspiracy case. But I don’t know what it is . . . I would caution people not to think that there’s anything there yet before we see it.”
