Nevada Democrat Skewered for Profanity-Filled Online Meltdown

Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) caused quite a stir on social media after she posted a late-night rant against President Donald Trump that was stuffed with profanity, protesting against his plans to attend oral arguments at the Supreme Court. After catching a whole lot of heat for her less than professional language, Lee deleted the posts from her account.

“So f—ing f—ed up. I’ll pray they f— him to his face,” Lee stated in her post, which was published shortly before 1 a.m. Eastern time. “Sorry, I say f— a lot these days,” Lee, 59, went on to add in the online tirade. Lee, who has served four terms in the House of Representatives, made the vile comments in response to a story from The Associated Press that said Trump planned to visit the court and listen to a case concerning his birthright citizenship executive order.

Democrats have vehemently opposed Trump’s efforts to bring birthright citizenship to an end for children of foreign nationals who are born on U.S. soil, many of whom are taking advantage of the 14th Amendment through the birth tourism industry. “Either Democrat Rep. Susie Lee was blackout drunk when she tweeted this or it was a staffer posting from her account,” conservative commentator Steve Guest said in response to Lee’s posts.

According to a report from Fox News, conservative pundit and influencer Eric Daugherty referred to Lee as a “mentally deranged psycho,” and a lot of his followers agreed. When Lee was asked to give a comment about her rant, which she deleted with very little explanation, a spokesperson referred the outlet to a statement posted on her personal account.

“Clearly my language touched a nerve — my nerve was touched by the attacks on our Constitution and its separation of powers,” Lee’s statement read. “I took an oath to protect and defend it.” The outburst comes as the Nevada congresswoman has been trying to brand herself as being bipartisan instead of a radical leftist like many of her colleagues. President Trump won Lee’s district in Las Vegas by less than a point during the 2024 election.

Republicans view the district as an opportunity to flip a key battleground seat. The House Republicans’ campaign arm, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) ripped into Lee over her profanity-laced rant. “Democrat Susie Lee has become Nevada’s fool, more focused on vulgar outbursts than doing the job she was elected to do,” NRCC spokesman Christian Martinez went on to say in a statement. “Hitting delete doesn’t clean up her mess, it just proves she knows how embarrassing it is.”

The Trump administration has attempted to make the case that the purpose of the 14th Amendment in the Constitution was to provide citizenship to American slaves and their children, not the descendants of illegal aliens or those who are only living in the U.S. temporarily. Trump recently spoke with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, where he explained his take on the controversial amendment.

“I have listened to this argument for so long, and this is not about Chinese billionaires, or billionaires from other countries who all of a sudden have 75 children or 59 children in one case, or 10 children becoming American citizens. This was about slaves,” the president said. “It had to do with the babies of slaves,” Trump continued.

“It didn’t have to do with the protection of multimillionaires and billionaires wanting to have their children get American citizenship. It is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s been so badly handled by legal people over the years,” he added. The administration has been working relentlessly over the last year to crack down on birth tourism, which accounts for over 10,000 births in the U.S. a year.
