Netanyahu Claims Defeating Hamas Will Make Biblical Prophecy from Isaiah a Reality

With Israel’s ground invasion appearing to be set to move in the coming days and weeks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to the podium to address his people, along with the world, and explain Israel’s stance on the conflict. he minced no words in calling out the horrors committed by Hamas and made it clear that his nation would take swift action to bring Justice to those who perpetrated the violence.

To begin his address, Netanyahu made it clear that while answers and a clear accounting of the violence on October 7 would need to be found, now is not the time. With the country on the brink of a ground invasion of Palestine, he said, “We all will have to provide answers to what happened on Oct. 7, myself included — but only after the war.”

As the English translator spoke over Netanyahu’s voice, it became clear that the operation was only beginning for Israel. Despite a rapid response that Netanyahu’s tone seems to indicate was mostly successful, he was clear that the effort to eradicate Hamas was not complete.

He said, “We have already killed thousands of terrorists and this is only the beginning… Simultaneously, we are preparing for a ground invasion. I will not elaborate on when, how or how many. I will also not elaborate on the various calculations we are making, which the public is mostly unaware of and that is how things should be.”

Reuters reported that Israel’s retribution has already killed roughly 6,500 Palestinians, though the article does not clarify how many of those were enemy combatants.

Netanyahu then framed the issue clearly to his listeners. He said, “Hamas is ISIS, and ISIS is Hamas. Our war against Hamas is their war as well. Our war against Hamas is a test for all of humanity. It is a struggle between the axis of evil of Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas and the axis of freedom and progress.”

He continued, saying through a translator, “We are the people of the light, they are the people of darkness and light shall triumph over darkness.”

Netanyahu next called for his Israeli people to join together to fight for the same cause, which he referred to as “victory.” As he continued talking about the importance of this moment, he said that this war would bring about the realization of the prophecies of the prophet Isaiah.

He said, “We shall realize the prophecy of Isaiah. There will no longer be stealing at your borders and your gates will be of glory. Together we will fight, together we will win.”

According to The Christian Post, many Old Testament scholars find that much of Isaiah’s prophecies point to the coming of the Messiah. For these prophecies to be fulfilled it gives hope to Netanyahu and his followers that the Jewish savior is soon on the way.

With the need to defend themselves and religious fervor to bring the next coming of God back to Earth, the Jewish people are ready to fight tooth an nail to win this conflict as decidedly as they are able.
