President-elect Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter, Kai, recently went viral on social media over a display of her unmatched athleticism, even in a homecoming dress and high heels. While Kai is primarily known for her golf game, for which she has earned a scholarship to play at a Division I school, she decided to show everyone that her athletic abilities are multifaceted.
The video shows Kai getting ready to attend her homecoming dance, before making a quick detour to her driveway to shoot a few hoops. Undeterred by her high heels and dress, less than conducive for knocking down mid-range jump shots, Kai was on fire. Sinking one after another, Kai refused to miss, successfully making four jump shots in a row. To cap it off, Kai gave a between the legs step back and left on a make.
The popular X account MAGA Resource shared the clip, writing,”Kai Trump gets ready for her homecoming dance, then decides she wants to shoot some hoops in her dress and heels. 🏀😂 Then Kai proceeds to hit 4 shots in a row and she’s not done. Kai then makes a crossover, through the legs dribble, with a step back and drills the shot! Kai is off to the University of Miami on a golf scholarship as well. Looks like Kai is just a natural athlete at anything she tries.”
The video garnered comments from various users reacting to the video. “@KaiTrump is my new favourite follow. While she’s clearly had the greatest of advantages, she is still grounded and real. This is something a lot of children of the super rich have not been able to achieve. Speaks volumes about her family upbringing for sure,” one person wrote.

Weighing in on Kai’s impeccable golf game, another person wrote, “Kai seems to be quite the athlete I watched her play nine holes of golf today on youtube and Kai shot -4 under 32 President Grandpa better watch out.”
The American Tribune reported on another viral video showing Kai nail several consecutive drives with impeccable power and precision. One user wrote, “Better than 99.9% of people watching this.” Another user admitted, “Better than mine.” Getting into specifics, another person wrote, “Lots of nice action through the hitting zone. She releases the club head well.” However, some comments gave constructive criticism on her swing. “Would like to see that left elbow pointing a little more down, through impact and after. Sort of like Babe Ruth, Ben Hogan, Jimmy Ballard,” one person said.
