Movement to Impeach “National Security Threat” Judge Boasberg Grows after He Allegedly “Sided With a Venezuelan Gang”

In reaction to Judge James Boaseberg’s dramatic judicial overreach, a petition has been gaining steam online, calling for the controversial judge to be removed. When the Article 3 Project, which authored the petition, posted the document to social media, conservatives flocked to the comments section to call for the judges’ immediate removal from office.

For context, Judge James Boasberg, who became infamous for blocking the deportation of Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang members, has faced calls to resign since he made his potentially illegal decision. Many conservatives, including members of Congress, have signalled their intention to bring the dishonest judge to heel.

Such was shown when the Article 3 Project posted their petition to X on April 30, 2025. Explaining the issue, the letter read, “The President of the United States correctly designated Tren de Aragua (TdA), a vicious Venezuelan gang, as a foreign-terrorist organization. The President correctly put these terrorists on planes to get them the h*ll out of our country.”

Building on this point, the project slammed Boasberg for his horrible decision. The document continued, “Yet DC Obama Judge James Boasberg thinks he has the power to order the President to turn around the planes in mid-air and bring back these terrorists into America. This is the most dangerous constitutional crisis imaginable.”

Explaining the correct course of action to fix this issue, the petition called on the Supreme Court. “The President has a constitutional duty, as the chief executive officer and commander-in-chief, to ignore Judge Boasberg’s lawless and dangerous order, “the letter read, “The Supreme Court must use the emergency docket to immediately stay Judge Boasberg’s order.”

Concluding the spirited petition, the document laid out the necessary steps to remove Boasberg from office. Wrapping up the document, it declared, “The House must impeach Judge Boasberg for abuse of power. The Senate must convict Judge Boasberg. And the Congress must defund his court.”

In the comments under the initial post, conservatives expressed their anger in a series of responses. One such comment asked, “What the hell are the (majority of the) R’s doing besides besides insider trading and taking kickbacks from so called NGOs?”

Joining the calls for a full investigation, one woman advocated, “Defund his court and then order him before congress and interrogate! He can be removed for his unethical decisions and his involvement with SCOTUS Roberts, Obmamba (sic)c, soros and the list goes on! He should have excused himself! Remove from the bench, judges are not for life time!!!!”

Poking fun at the woke judge, one use joked, “Don’t impeach him. Buy a house next door to him, fly 15 MS13 back from El Salvador, slap ankle bracelets on them, and house them there.” Building on this point, another account added, “He chooses illegal gang members over Americans 🤬 it disgusts me!”

Wrapping up the comments, one reply called on Congress to set the situation right. A user wrote, “@HouseGOP @JudiciaryGOP @SpeakerJohnson Boasnerg (sic) must be impeached. Take away any funding for his district too. He and these other radical judges must go.”
