Sources indicate that President Donald Trump will celebrate his 79th birthday on June 14 with a massive military parade. The president’s parade will honor the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army and Trump’s birthday in an uplifting display of national pride.
For context, President Trump has enjoyed historically high support among military members during all three campaigns. In response, the president has honored veterans who risked their lives for our freedoms in several high-profile gestures.
Such was shown when Eric Duagherty, a Florida-based reporter, took to X on May 2, 2025, to announce the parade. He reported, “🚨 JUST IN: On President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, June 14, he will host a LARGE military parade for the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday – Fox. It will include reenactors and equipment from MANY wars, dating back to the Revolutionary War.”
Adding additional context, described the massive scale of the preparations. Duagherty explained, “According to the AP, it is calling for over 6,600 soldiers, at least 150 vehicles and 50 helicopters. SecDef @PeteHegseth told Fox: ‘In celebration of 250 years of the U.S. Army, we will throw the biggest and most beautiful military parade in our nation’s history.'”
In the comments under the initial post, conservatives were thrilled by the news. One user wrote, “As a veteran of the War on Terror with two direct descendants that fought in the Revolutionary War, another in the War of 1812, two more in the Civil War, two more in World War 1, and another in the Korean War… it would be a personal honor for me and vets like me to have the opportunity to participate in this parade in some capacity. They should invite veterans to do something for this,” adding, “I myself was still serving during Trump’s first term when he wiped out ISIS in Operation Inherent Resolve, that’s gotta count for something.”
Noting the massive boon the parade would be to national pride, one of the comments stated, “This is how you restore national pride. Trump’s not just honoring the Army, he’s reminding America that strength is beautiful, history matters, and our soldiers deserve more than hashtags. June 14 is now a double celebration: 250 years of Army greatness and 79 years of a president who actually respects it. Liberals will rage, because they hate seeing us proud.”
Building on this point, another comment supported the display of American pride. He wrote, “Hell yeah, a massive military parade to honor the Army’s 250th and celebrate our nation’s strength! I love that they’re bringing history to life with reenactors and gear from the Revolutionary War up to today. It’s about time we show the world what American pride looks like. 🦅🇺🇸 #AmericaFirst #MilitaryPride.” Agreeing, another comment read, “A grand celebration of military history and American strength. The parade will honor the U.S. Army’s legacy with a focus on national pride.”

Rounding out the comments, one reply noticed the special significance of June 14, the day selected for the parade. The response stated, “OMG! He was born on flag day! June 14 is Flag Day in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the U.S. flag on June 14, 1777, by the Second Continental Congress.”
