In a bombshell memo obtained by The Federalist, controversial Federal Judge James Boasberg discussed with other officials how to confront the Trump administration during a “constitutional crisis.” In the incriminating memo, Boasberg speculated that the Trump Administration would defy biased court rulings and shed light on the deep anti-Trump bias among D.C. judges.
For context, Judge James Boasberg became infamous after he used his power to block Trump from invoking the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gangsters in a dramatic case of judicial overreach. However, Boasberg’s more recent comments are even more damning as they depart from the presumption of regularity, which requires a court to presume public officials properly discharged their official duties.
In any case, according to a document obtained by the conservative paper, Boasberg conspired with Chief Justice John Roberts to undermine the Trump administration. According to the memo, “District of the District of Columbia Chief Judge James Boasberg next raised his colleagues’ concerns that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts, leading to a constitutional crisis.”
However, some judges had a slightly more reasonable take, such as when “Chief Justice Roberts expressed hope that it would not happen and in turn no constitutional crisis would materialize. His interactions with the President have been civil and respectful, such as the President thanking him at the state of the union address for administering the oath.”
In his absurd screed, Boasberg displayed his obvious TDS, such as when he stated that “the Trump Administration committed criminal contempt of court,” when they refused to turn around planes carrying deported illegal aliens when ordered to do so by the unaccountable woke judge.
Due to his controversial history of judicial overreach, Judge James Boasberg has received harsh criticism from the Trump administration. As we reported, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt demolished the infamous Judge Boasberg in a March 19, 2025, press conference, which left the woke judge seething.
Starting her demolition, she explained the absurdity of Boasberg’s position. She stated, “The judge in this case is essentially trying to say that the president doesn’t have the executive authority to deport foreign terrorists from our American soil. That is an EGREGIOUS abuse of the bench. This judge does not have that authority.”

Building on this point, Leavitt blasted the federal judge for trying to overrule the duly elected president. She said, “It is the opinion of this White House and of this administration, and that’s why we’re fighting this in court. And it’s very, very clear that this is an activist judge, who is trying to usurp the president’s authority.”
Concluding her remarks, the SPOX laid out exactly how biased this controversial judge is, by saying, “Under the Alien Enemies Act, the president has this power, and that’s why this deportation campaign has continued. And this judge, Judge Boasberg, is a Democrat activist. He was appointed by Barack Obama. His wife has donated more than $10,000 to Democrats, and he has consistently shown his disdain for this president and his policies, and it’s unacceptable.”
