Incoming First Lady Melania Trump recently signed a deal with Amazon to release a documentary outlining her life. According to reports, Melania will be the film’s executive producer, which will be released to theaters around the world upon its completion. The move follows the successful release of the first lady’s memoir “Melania” last year.
“Amazon Prime Video has exclusively licensed an upcoming documentary film for both theatrical and streaming release that will give viewers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump,” a spokesperson on behalf of Amazon said. “Filming began in December 2024, with an anticipated release in the second half of 2025. Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized. We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world,” they added.
The news of the Melania Trump documentary has sparked excitement from conservatives on social media. The popular pro-Trump X account Johnny Maga reported, “Melania Trump signs exclusive deal with Amazon Prime for a documentary film on the life of the First Lady. Melania will serve as executive producer of the film.”
Another user commented, “I look forward to seeing it. Am currently reading her book “Melania” and enjoy it very much. She seems to be the perfect match for Donald Trump.” Others praised Melania, where another comment read, “Melanie Trump deserves the recognition for the beautiful, gracious First Lady she portrayed during term 45 and will again during term 47.”
Similarly, one person said, “It’s about time one of these liberal outlets came to their senses and realised that Melania is a true beauty and a very interesting First Lady. It was outrageous that they refused to cover her during the first term.” Another comment read, “The left hates Bezos now,” addressing the seeming favorable view the Amazon founder has toward Trump.
The American Tribune reported on an interview Melania had with Fox News last year, promoting the release of her successful memoir, which topped the New York Times best-seller list. “So I had a lot of questions. What’s going on?” Melania said in the interview when discussing the assassination attempt against her husband in Butler, PA. She further blamed the mainstream media for creating a “toxic atmosphere” around her husband.
“It’s…this is not normal, and is it really shocking that all this courageous violence goes against my husband, especially that we hear the leaders from the opposition party and mainstream media branding him as a threat to democracy, calling him vile names, they only fueling a toxic atmosphere and giving power all of these people that they want to do harm to him,” she added. “This needs to stop. This needs to stop. The country needs to unite. And I encourage everybody to read my letter that I wrote on July 14, again, because that cannot continue,” the first lady emphasized.
In other remarks during the conversation, Melania spoke about how fashion prepared her for the White House. “I think nothing prepared me more to be first lady in front of the world than the fashion industry. the fashion industry, it’s glamorous, but it’s at the same time, very tough, and as everybody judges you, looks at you certain way. So it’s, it can be a mean world, as well. So, nothing prepared me more, for, for this world than fashion. It gives you a thick skin, so it was,” she said.
