Melania Trump’s 2025 Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon outfit, which featured a deep-brown Anine Bing bomber jacket, Ralph Lauren tweed skirt, crewneck sweater, and Manolo Blahnik pumps, swept the internet, where it was hailed as a “Top Gun meets Margaret Thatcher” masterpiece and led to what seemed like the whole internet once again praising her for her beauty and awesome sense of style.

Trump supporters hailed her as a “real trend-setting icon,” and praised the personal, elegant, and in-touch look. Additionally, many commentators declared she was the most beautiful and tasteful FLOTUS since Jackie Kennedy, with a style that’s “ladylike, modest, and budget-friendly.”

Even fashion historian Einav Rabinovitch-Fox, a liberal academic, acknowledged Melania’s deliberate use of clothing as her primary voice, noting that, unlike predecessors, her wardrobe serves both national image and her husband’s agenda, making fashion her most powerful form of speech.

Breaking the news in a viral social media post, one user noted, “🚨 Ladies! This outfit is truly personal and innovative FLOTUS Melania 🇺🇸 is beginning to establish herself as a real trend-setting icon A Top Gun-style bomber paired with a Margaret Thatcher-inspired skirt bears her signature. I adore it and won’t hesitate to copy this combo.”

Commenting on the same look, another user wrote, “First Lady Melania Trump arrives at the Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoning ceremony. FLOTUS Melania looks STUNNING in a deep brown Leon Bomber by Anine Bing, brown crewneck sweater, brown tweed skirt by Ralph Lauren, and suede brown Manolo Blahnik pumps.”

Many users echoed these remarks in the comments. “She looks great in everything she wears. I have seen plenty of people who spend a fortune on clothes and still look awful, one user added. Additionally, another said, “She’s the most beautiful model Ralph Lauren has! 🥰”

Similarly enthusiastic, another user said, “Melania is the most beautiful and elegant FLOTUS we have had. Jackie Kennedy Onassis was very elegant but not quite as stunning as Melania. Her style is so tasteful, ladylike and modest without being a prude. And her clothing looks can be replicated without killing the budget, so she is a good role model.”

Even liberal Trump critics have been forced to admit that Melania is a peerless fashion icon. “There is no one goal or message that Flotus is trying to achieve through her dress. Each first lady is different, and her use of clothing is different,” Fashion Historian Einav Rabinovitch-Fox said to introduce her thoughts.

Similarly, the liberal fashion historian said, “Melania is not known as a great speaker, which made her fashion choices even more important, because many times, that was her form of speech,” adding, “She knows very well how to use clothes.”

Concluding her comments, she added, “In general, I think that today, first ladies understand the power of fashion, and are trying to build an image for them that represents the country, but also theirs, and their husbands’ agenda.”
