On Friday, August 30, billionaire businessman, entrepreneur, and Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban, known for his left-wing views on politics and social issues, attempted to attack former President Donald Trump on X (formerly Twitter), but the poll that went to his 8.8 million followers and many more observers ended far better for Trump than for Cuban.
The post that led to the support for the former president and rebuke of far-left Mark Cuban was a poll in which the billionaire asked respondents whether he would rather that their children be like Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris. He asked, “Who’s persona and character would you like to see young children grow up to have?”
Hilariously, though he obviously expected for the poll to break Kamala’s way and show that people would rather not have family members be like Donald Trump, the X crowd got a hold of the poll and sent it in quite the opposite direction. Of the more than 17 million people who viewed the post and over three-quarters of a million who voted, more than two thirds said that they would prefer their children turn out like Trump than Kamala.
Some of the responses to Cuban’s post were quite savage. One commenter, for example, dredged up the allegation that Kamala got ahead by dating Willie Brown, saying, “Mark, you have daughters. Would you like your daughters to sleep with billionaires to get into powerful positions in politics, sports, or business? If you don’t, Trump is your answer.”
Another commenter noted that Trump’s kids are much better turned out than Kamala’s stepdaughter, saying, “Interestingly, I had a chance to meet both Trump’s daughter and Kamala’s stepdaughter at a gala. Emma was blatantly anti-social and rude to a server. Ivanka was warm and pleasant. She talked to the server for a few minutes asking about her family. It was night and day. I think Kamala has a substance abuse problem and Doug lets her run roughshod over him – it has really impacted Emma negatively…”
Another, Professor Gad Saad, wrote that those who are more like Trump are more likely to shape the world, saying, “World history is shaped by people who possess personality traits that are more aligned with those of Trump. Harris is a lobotomized degenerate void of any drive or thought. She is a platitudinous sack of nothing. Nasty dictators fear people like Trump. They mount people like Harris (metaphorically speaking of course). [Again, I’ll repost.]”
Saad also noted that Trump has many more, in his opinion, good qualities than Kamala. He said, “Trump has many qualities (honey badger mindset, grit, perseverance, entrepreneurial spirit) and numerous flaws. Harris is an empty human being whose rise has utilized knee-level talents. She is void of the capacity to formulate a single meaningful sentence on anything. To the extent that she does formulate a thought, it is incongruent with ANY of the foundational values on which the United States was built. [I’ll repost.]”
Still another commenter, conservative X personality and DeSantis ally Jenna Ellis, chimed in to say that Trump is an embodiment of the American dream whereas Kamala is a communist. She wrote, “Obama wrote that Trump is the embodiment of the American Dream. I guess he wants his kids to grow up to be wealthy and successful—not communists like Kamala.”
