“Made a Total Fool of Himself”: Juan Williams Hammered after He “Lost His Composure” Live on Air about Trump Win [WATCH]

Things didn’t go great for liberal commentator Juan Williams after he appeared on Fox News Channel as a token liberal to discuss the election results and, during his appearance, seemingly refused to accept the fact that Trump simply ran a good campaign that appealed to ordinary Americans. In fact, Williams was skewered for what he said about Trump and his electoral victory.

Speaking about the results of the election, Williams said, “I think that there are even recriminations now among Democrats as to Biden, and whether Biden should have dropped that earlier, or Biden should have stayed with a white male. Have done better? Obviously, Trump has defeated two women and now a black woman.” He added, “So there’s all these questions, but to my mind, it seems to me incredible that a guy who led a resurrection insurrection against the United States government is going essentially now, you know, like … going back into the Oval Office. It’s unbelievable.”

Shortly afterward, Williams dismissed the idea that voters bought into some of the key issues that came up during the campaign, saying “I’m not sold on this idea that, Oh, it was the cost of x. I worry that it was, well, I’m not voting for this woman, or I’m not voting for this black.” Bret Baier fired back,  “That’s not what we see in our data.” Williams continued, “Here’s the thing, where do you see that? Because a moment ago, Darren was out here and he said, in fact, not only did the bro strategy work, and the bro strategy largely worked along the lines of white men, but the bro strategy also had some impact in terms of Latino and Black men who came along and gave higher percentage.”

He was hammered on X (formerly Twitter) for those comments. One X personality, for example, the “Lone Star American,” wrote, “Why can’t Juan Williams and democrats understand this Election wasn’t about race. Never was. Trump didn’t talk to people as if they were a race, he talked to them as Americans. Divisive politics, is over.”‘

On much the same note, the “Proud Elephants” X account wrote that Williams had totally beclowned himself with his hysteric election coverage, writing, “Juan Williams made a TOTAL FOOL of himself last night and completely lost his composure in response to President Trump’s historic victory.”

Similarly, the “Grumpy MAGA” X account wrote that the panel’s shredding of Williams for his comments shows how things have changed, writing, “Juan Williams will not accept Trump’s victory and still can’t understand how America voted for a man who led an “insurrection.” Then, the entire panel attacks him! The tide has turned.” Watch Williams here:

Another poster on X, wrecking Williams for another incident he had on air recently, said, “Just listened to Juan Williams on Martha McCallum’s show on Fox. I almost felt sorry for him. I think Juan should retire, he appears to be past his prime. Cracked me up when he said President Trump was going in a “lame duck”. Poor Juan, so delusional. Retire buddy.”
