Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been taking to Twitter calling for Schiff’s removal from his committee assignments now that the GOP has retaking the House of Reps, saying that he deserves to be removed because of his lies to American and his support for BLM during the 2020 “fiery but mostly peaceful protests.
Posting about that on Twitter, MTG said “lying to the American people and supporting BLM violent riots all over America…along w/ many of your colleagues.”
She also said, in another post containing a video of Schiff, “I’m looking forward to watching @GOPLeader remove you from committees.”
Schiff, in an inter with “The Issue Is,” was asked about that, with the interviewer, Elex Michaelson, asking “Democrats kicked Marjorie Taylor Greene off of her committees, so why shouldn’t they be able to kick you off of your committees?”
Schiff, responding to the question and MTG’s Twitter criticism, did his best to make it sound like there really is a difference, saying:
“Well, this is the same false equivalence they often use, which is Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul dose are were removed from their committees because they were inciting violence against fellow members of Congress. The day I start to incite violence against people that I serve with are elsewhere that fine take me off my committee. You know, the moment I start engaging in insurrection, then find a sanction me, but But don’t get me this false equivalence, Mr. McCarthy, and suggest that somehow leading legitimate investigations of Donald Trump’s corruption with Russia, Ukraine, and January 6 is somehow legitimate basis to remove someone from a committee”
Watch that here:
.@AdamSchiff fires back at @GOPLeader wanting to kick him off committees the way Dems removed @RepMTG
Schiff: it’s a “false equivalence”

But Schiff isn’t the only one that Greene is bickering with on Twitter. She’s also fighting with Rep. Lauren Boebert over Boebert’s refusal to back Rep. Kevin McCarthy for Speaker, saying, in a three-part Twitter thread:
I’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes.
She gladly takes our $$$ but when she’s been asked:
Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite.
The country is facing extremely difficult times. Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites.
Save America!
Defeat the Democrats!
In another thread she suggested that the GOP politicians have moved to the right and are going to actually try to work with the American people this time, saying:
I have a vision of a Republican Party that truly serves the American people and our many great needs. Our House GOP conference all suffered together so much in the past two years and many House Republicans have changed and moved to the right, but the base doesn’t know yet.
Here is an example: The Senate Republicans are another story & the 18 Senators that voted for the Democrats $1.7 trillion omnimonster are the Uniparty, 36% of Republican Senators. While only 4% of House Republicans voted for it, 2 of them are traitors (Cheney & Kinzinger).
The base will no longer tolerate Uniparty Republicans, which are viewed as America Last, and I have been making that clear inside our conference while the base has been making it loud & clear on the outside.
This must continue in order to keep our conference moving right. It should also be pointed out Republicans won the House majority, but not the Senate. That’s because many House Republicans fought Biden & the Democrat’s agenda while the McConnell Republican Senators helped pass Biden’s agenda.
Voting records & election results are proof. Another story the base doesn’t know: Many House Republicans learned for the first time after J6 what it’s like to not have support from K Street and big corporations bc they refused to donate for much of the past two years.
This was a good lesson in many ways because while Republicans were tossed to the side by K Street & Big Corporate bc of all the woke agenda bs and insurrection lies, many House Republicans learned they don’t need K Street and Big Corporate like they need them.
We won the House after being shunned by them. Now K Street & Big Corporate are trickling back only bc House R’s take the majority in January. The most important thing the base can do is to make sure your support & voice to House Republicans is stronger than K Street lobbyist & Big Corporate. DC is open and the base should start doing citizen lobbying because it’s the People’s House.
Call ahead to Member’s offices, make an appointment, and plan a trip. Bring your friends. Be professional, be polite, and enjoy it. Make the Republican Party America’s Party.
