President Donald Trump branded Tucker Carlson, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Rep. Thomas Massie “LOSERS ALL” after the three Trump critics aligned around a possible breakaway political movement. Trump mocked Carlson’s audience and political prospects before turning his fire on Greene and Massie. He also warned that even an unsuccessful Carlson candidacy could siphon votes away from a future Republican ticket. The confrontation comes as the dissident group discusses building a coalition outside the Trump-led Republican Party.
The dispute follows an early August meeting involving Carlson, Greene, Massie, and former Trump administration official Joe Kent. Carlson subsequently published a photograph of the four and said the MAGA movement had been betrayed, promising that a new political path was coming. Kent later confirmed that members of the group had encouraged Carlson to run for president, although Carlson has publicly denied planning a campaign. The meeting and resulting speculation drew a blistering response from Trump on Friday night.
“Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight ‘Former’ Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene, LOSERS ALL!” Trump began. His use of “Former” appeared to be a jab at Massie’s political standing, while the president replaced Greene’s former status as one of his closest congressional allies with the nickname “Traitor.” Trump immediately shifted his attention to Carlson’s audience and influence.
“Tucker’s ‘Views’ have fallen through the floor, and will only get worse,” Trump wrote. “Nobody cares about him any longer in that he has become totally irrelevant, and happens to be, surprisingly, a very Low I.Q. individual.” The president continued by mocking Carlson’s academic record: “He could barely get out of College, and maybe he didn’t, but only really dumb people can’t make it through that wonderful four year time in life!”
Trump next addressed the possibility that Carlson could seek elected office. “Tucker wants to run for political office, but he should be required to take a cognitive test,” the president said. “He’s got no chance, but could probably take a couple of points away from whatever the Republican ticket happens to be! Tucker is a loser, and always has been!” Trump’s warning acknowledged that Carlson could still damage Republicans by drawing away enough voters to alter a close election.
The president then turned to Greene, “Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green turns to Brown under stress!), a highly neurotic young woman, went from Ultra Conservative to a Liberal ‘Fool,’ all in a matter of weeks, because I refused to return her phone calls — Not because I didn’t like her, just because I had no time,” Trump wrote. He blamed Greene’s political collapse on his withdrawal of support, adding, “She was way down in the Polls in Georgia (because I took away my Endorsement), and would have had no chance at winning, so she, just like everyone else, ‘QUIT!’”
Massie received a shorter but equally punishing assessment. “Thomas Massie has turned out to be a failed politician, and a real JERK,” Trump declared. “He thought it was really wonderful to vote, ‘NO,’ on everything, no matter how good, strong, or proper the Legislation would be.” Massie has repeatedly opposed major bills supported by Trump and Republican leadership, making the Kentucky lawmaker one of the president’s most frequent targets inside the party.

Kent previously confirmed that he, Greene, and Massie had attempted to recruit Carlson for a presidential campaign. “I’d say all of us at one point in time told Tucker he needs to run,” Kent said, according to The National News Desk. Kent said Carlson remained publicly opposed to running but added that the group hoped he would eventually change his mind. He also acknowledged that they were building a broader political coalition and had not ruled out creating a new party.
“What a team this would be, THREE LOSERS, and a pocketful of change!” Trump concluded. “The only chance they have is to join the Radical Left Dumocrats, and try breaking into the Primary System.” The president then delivered his final sarcastic sendoff to the three former allies: “To all of them I say, PRAISE BE TO ALLAH! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
