“Looks More like a Drunken Tantrum than a Political Statement”: Nancy Pelosi Gets Roasted for Ridiculous Stunt at “No Kings” Protest [WATCH]

In an embarrassing moment during the theatrical No Kings Protests, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tore up a prop crown to protest President Trump, looking quite foolish as she made a spectacle of herself with the display. Many conservatives joked at her expense, echoing past jokes and long-running rumors that she appeared to be intoxicated.

Reacting to these embarrassing protests, for reference, President Trump has dismissed the rallies as “small” and “whacked out,” insisting, “I’m not a king—I work my ass off to make our country great.” Additionally, other Republicans rallied behind his remarks.

In any case, one popular conservative took to social media to joke about her appearance after Pelosi snapped the crown, saying, “We’re gonna tear up the crown” as she did so. It was so ridiculous, and the speech so uninspiring, that it led to all the old and usual jokes. “Nancy Pelosi’s crown-tearing spectacle looks more like a drunken tantrum than a political statement. Maybe she mistook the paper prop for a wine bottle?🤦‍♂️” the caption of a viral post about the incident read.

In the comments under this post, many users joked about Pelosi’s shaky hands and slurred speech. One conservative joked, “@SpeakerPelosiIt’s time the bed pan servant retires. The damage you have done to my country is unforgettable. Go home Nancy and enjoy your ice cream.”

Pointing out the irony in these protests, another response read, “It’s ironic, isn’t it, that a career politician for decades is screaming no kings from the rooftops. A woman who has lived a life of lavish on the tax payers back. She is closer to king than Trump ever is or was.”

Despite the anger and mockery that Pelosi wrought with her crown-tearing incident, Democrats, such as the infamous Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY), have issued statements supporting the absurd demonstrations. Schumer whined, for example, “Dictators evolve when good people of all different beliefs and backgrounds stay silent. This No Kings Day says we will not stay silent.”

Similarly, Sen Adam Schiff (D-CA) issued a politically motivated comment. The Trump-hating Democrat claimed, “We said ‘hell no’ to kings, and reminded the nation and the world what patriotism looks like… From our nation’s capitol to cities across California, millions stood shoulder to shoulder to say that our democracy is worth fighting for, that our voices will not be silent, and that we will not sit back and let a wannabe king take our freedoms.”

Firing back at the woke protests, President Donald Trump has attacked the central thesis of these protests. “I work my ass off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all,” he fired back, demolishing these embarrassing events.

Adding to his previous argument, the president noted, “The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective and the people were whacked out. When you look at those people, those are not representative of the people of our country.”

Offering another perspective, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) explained the real motivation for these protests. “They needed a stunt. They needed a show. Chuck Schumer has — needs cover right now. He’s closed the government down because he needs political cover, and this was a part of it,” Johnson announced.

Likewise, Patty Murray used soaring rhetorical language to make these protests seem more critical. “This is what democracy looks like! We use our voices and our votes. NO KINGS IN AMERICA!” she raved to the crowd.
