Everyone’s favorite election denier is back on air and in the news, this time thanks to an interview that she did with Drew Barrymore. In the interview, Abrams made two assertions that had the internet rolling around in laughter: 1) she’s planning on running in the Georgia governor’s race yet again and 2) her boyfriend dumped her for being “too ambitious”.
Watch her say that she’ll run again here:

People started making jokes at Abrams’ expense and claiming that she had little chance of succeeding in Georgia when that clip was posted, saying things like:
So funny when Barrymore is so sickening kissing up to crooked Stacey Abrams…..Makes one want to throw up.
Never ran a day in her life.
She will run for the hills. No chance in GA. She screwed ATL with the Jim Crow 2.0 BS and help get the all star game moved. She makes kids wear masks when she doesn’t. She’s being investigated for campaign fraud. And on and on and on. We know all about her.
Its just very weird that random citizens of California care so much about the governor of Georgia. Tells you how sincere they are being. Its not about bettering things, its about power.
I’m sure she’ll run. To Krispy Kreme. Then run to KFC on the way back.
But that clip wasn’t even the best part. That came when Abrams claimed a boy dumped her in college for being “too ambitious”, saying “When I was in college, I fell in love with a boy who was mean to me. He broke up with me and he said that I was too ambitious and wanted too many things, and I would end up alone and lonely.”

Lol. Sure, Stacey. My guess it you were a little “too” something, but it had more to do with caloric consumption than driving ambition.
In any case, Abrams’ campaign situation isn’t looking too hot at the moment thanks to some entirely predictable spending extravagances, as Louder with Crowder reported, saying:
But Stacey’s campaign isn’t looking so hot at the moment. Yesterday, Abrams reported more than $1.4M in debt to the state campaign finance commission. This is quite flabbergasting, given she raised a record $113M to lose by 8 points. By comparison, Kemp only raised $78M.
Abrams’ campaign manager claimed the exorbitant funds raised were due to a “cavalcade of negative press.” But some staffers claim there was actually crazy spending going on, including a “hype house” rented for $12,500 a month to make TikTok videos in. They also bought a pop-up shop and “swag truck” to give free merchandise to young voters. I don’t know about you, but if I saw a “swag truck” offering me free goodies, I would run for the hills before I made the next episode of Dateline.
As a result of the ill-advised spending, Abrams actually had to cut airwave spending by half in the final two weeks leading up to the election, which her manager has since admitted was done to reign in expenses.
