Attempted Robber Runs into Door, Knocks Self Out While Trying to Rob Store

While movies about scheming groups of high IQ criminals planning to rob a bank and get rich of some massive, well-planned scam or operation are fun and exciting, the truth is that most robbers and criminals are decidedly less intelligent.

Far and away from being the “Ocean’s Eleven” crowd of thoughtful and genteel, or at least well-dressed, criminals, the average robber tends to act and look like the exact opposite of that.

But even among the average ones, some are dumber than others, with one of perhaps the most intelligence-devoid individuals ever involved in a robbery caught on video knocking himself out while trying to escape with nearly $20,000 worth of Louis Vuitton merchandise.

According to Fox News Digital and Komo News, both of which ran stories on the hilarious incident, the brainless robber is a 17-year-old that tried robbing a store in Bellevue, Washington and running off with about $18,000 worth of Louis Vuitton handbags that he had grabbed.

But he didn’t make it far, as there was a glass door in his way…that he ran directly into when trying to escape…and knocked himself out. Watch that hilarious end to the crime here:

Unfortunately, this brainless criminal is just one of many preying on Bellevue’s shops and stores, as KOMO News reported, saying:

Prosecutors said the 17-year-old was part of the same retail crime theft ring as convicted killer Billy Chambers and career thief Earnetra Turner, who both have extensive criminal histories.

[…]From big business to small, wireless repair store owner Penny Pahl says those around them have been feeling the impact of relentless criminals.

“It’s just not ok, it isn’t, something that needs to be done,” said Pahl with IGSM Wireless. “We put our blood and sweat into our businesses and for someone to just be so brazen to walk into our business and take what we work our whole life for? It is taking away our livelihood.”

Captain Spingler of the local police did, however, tell that outlet that his department was taking a strong stand against crime in the town, saying:

“The message is, if You come to the City of Bellevue, you commit these crimes, we’re going to put together solid cases.”

He added that the police are using reams of data to try and track down and stop crime, saying:

“This is all data driven. We use our accountability and transparency dashboard and we follow the crime wherever it goes and we’re going to continue it as long as we need to.”

Pahl, the store owner quoted above, seemed doubtful that anything was actually being done to stop the robbers preying on Bellevue’s businesses, however, saying:

“If these guys are caught, they go to court, they go through the process, but what are the repercussions?”

Unfortunately, since it’s Washington and near Seattle, it seems likely that the Bellevue crime problem will continue and local authorities will have their hands tied by those leftists who tend to side with criminals over hard-working business owners.
