In a stunning statement, an MSNBC guest displayed that they apparently have no idea what terrorism is by labeling the Target boycott actual terrorism.
Obviously, this should be offensive to anyone that has been a victim, or have a loved one that has been a victim of real terrorism. The Boston Marathon Bombing and 9/11 spring immediately to mind.
However, since the left is so soft and overly dramatic, apparently boycotting a business and no longer shopping at those establishments ranks right up there with attacking Americans on American soil. Talk about hyperbole!
Target followed Bud Light, Nike, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and so many other chains with the bad decision to overtly, openly market products that are either offensive to their core customer base (Bud Light), conservative Christians, (Los Angeles Dodgers), or conservative parents (Target, Kohls).
After years of rolling over and simply allowing “wokeness” to fester and take root in entertainment, business, and sports, regular people are finally pushing back, and speaking out with their money.
MSNBC pundit says boycotting Target is "economic terrorism."

The MSNBC guest, as you can hear in the clip, asserted that the effective boycotts were “proof that a small number of people could control what a store like Target did or did not sell.”
Additionally the guest was quoted as saying, “When Target caves in to this, then it says that the moment you threaten the employees of even a very large corporation, you get to control its policies.”
The guest continued, saying, “This is economic terrorism, literally terrorism, creating fear among the workers and forcing the corporations to sell the things you want and not sell the things you don’t.”
What “terrorism” there is from people wanting the Satanist clothes gone is unclear, as the only threats made so far were made by someone who called in bomb threats and demanded the Pride collections be restored.
Considering the billions that AB and Target have lost in market value in the last several weeks, it is definitely not a small number of people boycotting. In fact, if the internet and social media are any barometer, it is a full-scale assault on wokeness and offensive, Satanist-designed clothing.
Terrorism, or maybe free market capitalism? If a store or business markets a product or service no one wants or buys, then very often the business will alter how and what it produces, markets, or provides.
It is just common sense that if you are losing customers because they don’t like what is being prominently displayed at the front of the store, perhaps you shouldn’t put the said products at the front of the store!
Target, Bud Light, Kohls, Nike and the lot are free to market and sell what they want, how they want. No one is disputing that.
However, folks are entitled to take their business elsewhere if they don’t like what is being sold. That is capitalism. Much of the left would prefer socialism, and the death of free market capitalism, but as long as consumers continue to hold companies accountable and speak with their money, eventually retailers might learn from the mistakes of Bud Light and Target, among others.
