A group of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were chased away from a pizza parlor in Minneapolis, Minnesota by a group of individuals who help illegal aliens escape ICE raids and operations, allowing them to stay in the United States without being deported. Surveillance footage from the incident shows several men getting out of an SUV outside Wrecktangle Pizza.
Breanna Evans, co-owner of Wrecktangle Pizza, recounted the incident, saying, “They stormed up on our door to try to get in.” Several employees at the restaurant, along with members of the local community, chased off the agents, according to Evans, after they tried to gain access to the establishment. Footage shows the agents leaving, but before they did, they deployed chemical agents.
The crowd kicks them back at the ICE officers. “We probably put a target on ourselves like that by helping people, which is sickening,” Evans stated. The visit from federal immigration authorities comes after the restaurant held a fundraising campaign for nonprofit organizations, which, according to Wrecktangle Pizza’s owner, raised over $83,000.
According to a report from CBS News, the restaurant also donated a pizza for each customer’s purchase, for people who have allegedly been negatively impacted by the presence of ICE in the community. And this pizza joint isn’t the only business in Minneapolis trying to chase off federal authorities trying to clean up the streets and deport illegal aliens.
Down the street from the pizza restaurant, a man named Syd King stood guard outside of a business called the Smitten Kitten, watching out for ICE officers. “If ICE is going to stay here, then I’m going to stay here,” King told the media. “We’re sticking together as a community.” Donations, food, household supplies, and other materials are being collected inside the Smitten Kitten for local illegal migrants who are afraid they will get caught if they leave their homes.
“We have people calling us from all over the world trying to help,” JP, owner of Smitten Kitten, told CBS News. “At one point, the store was just full, as are all the neighboring businesses.” With all of the goods pouring in, Smitten Kitten eventually ran out of room. Twin Cities Leather helped create space for extra storage.
“Forty-eight hours ago, this room was filled taller than me with donations from the community,” Karri Plowman, founder of Twin Cities Leather, went on to say. Radical leftists in the Minneapolis area continue to come together in groups to oppose ICE and to find ways they can obstruct the immigration enforcement operations ordered by the Trump administration.

“Minneapolis strong community first. They don’t belong here, they’re not this community, they’re not what we believe in. We support and love each other and you can see from that video what happens when they try to f*ck with us,” Evans explained to the outlet. The anti-ICE activity presented here took place in the LynLake neighborhood in Minneapolis.
