Despite grandiose social media statements, a planned leftist boycott of Amazon has failed. Even during the protest, the retail giant saw record sales. According to researchers, sales never went negative during the 24-hour ‘blackout’. The People’s Union, which organized the protest, is an economic group that rants about the ‘system’ and tries to bring down the economy.
“Overall we’re not seeing a major downturn in sales on Amazon U.S. today, although the peak hours are a bit softer from the average Friday,” an industry analyst told Forbes, though sales remained positive overall. “The final 1% increase demonstrates how the impact moderated throughout the day but never turned negative.”
“What we are building is not just about resisting corruption, it is about exposing it. For decades, corporations, politicians, and industries have worked together to rig the system against the American people,” says The People’s Union website. “They have built an economy designed to exploit workers, suppress wages, and keep the majority of us in a constant state of struggle.”
“These are the forces that have stolen our financial freedom, manipulated our government, and kept power in the hands of the wealthy elite,” the page reads. “Mega corporations have driven up prices, underpaid their workers, and outsourced jobs while raking in record profits. Banks and financial institutions have trapped generations in debt, inflating interest rates and making homeownership nearly impossible.”
Politicians ”both left and right” have accepted corporate bribes, passed laws that serve billionaires, and ignored the needs of the people they claim to represent.’ The system has been designed to keep us powerless, but that ends now,’ the statement expressed. We will name these corporations, industries, and politicians. We will expose their corruption and ensure the American people know exactly who has been working against them.’
“If you have information about corporate abuse, political corruption, or government overreach, submit it here. This movement belongs to the people, and together, we will bring the truth to light,” they say. “We are stronger together. This is a movement built by John Schwarz for the people, and by the people, and we need every voice in this fight.”
“If you believe in taking back power, breaking free from economic control, and building a future where the people ”not corporations” decide the direction of this country, then join us today,” the document concluded. “Everything I had felt since I was a child, that this system is rigged, that we are being used, that human beings were not born to be industrial slaves, was true,” said the founder John Schwarz.

“And it didn’t matter what religion, spiritual belief, or political affiliation someone had. The system is designed to keep all of us trapped. That is why I started this organization. Because I believe we deserve better. Because I believe it is possible to break free from a system built to exploit us,” he ranted. “Because I know that if we stand together, we don’t just demand change, we create it. This is just the beginning. And if you believe in something greater, then stand with us in solidarity as we work toward a brighter future for all.”
