Leading Radical Democrats Melt Down Over Shutdown Ending Deal that Provides No Funding for Illegal Alien Healthcare

As soon as the vote came in to end the government shutdown on Sunday, a number of top dog left-wing politicians, including a few who are mulling over a presidential bid in 2028, had toddler-like temper tantrums after multiple Senate Democrats announced an agreement had finally been reached. The vote brought to a close the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, but without securing key demands Democrats had been asking for.

A total of 10 Democrats in the Senate backed a procedural motion to push forward a series of spending bills and short-term spending measures to fund the government through the end of January 2026, several sources from both political parties told the media. Republicans agreed, as part of the terms for the bill’s passage, to hold a vote concerning the extension of ObamaCare credits in December, which will require 60 votes to pass.

The extension of these credits was the top reason for Democrats in passing the funding bill and was used as leverage for the left in attempting to get what they wanted from Republicans. All of this despite the fact that the extensions were already set to expire as part of the Democratic Party’s own reconciliation package from 2022, when former President Joe Biden was in office.

As we’ve all come to expect from the more extreme wing of the Democratic Party, several prominent figures immediately got on social media following the deal to rant and rave against those who supported the measure for “caving” to the GOP and giving away their leverage.

“This is not a deal — it’s an empty promise,” Illinois Governor JB Pritzker stated in a post on X. “Trump and his Republican Congress are making health care more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families. Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable health care.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who has connections to the Democratic Socialists of America and is rumored to be mulling over a presidential bid, also weighed in on the agreement, saying, “People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives. Working people want leaders whose word means something.”

Leftist politicians weren’t the only ones blowing smoke out of their ears. A number of radical liberal commentators also voiced their outrage, such as Kyle Kulinski, who went on the attack against President Donald Trump, falsely stating that he only has an approval rating of 37 percent. He also lamented the giving away of the so-called “leverage” the party had during the negotiations.

“America is blaming Republicans for the shutdown, the election was a landslide. THEY NEED YOUR VOTES. If you can’t extract health care subsidies right now you’re just a complete b**ch. Unfit for leadership,” he fumed. Far-left streamer Hasan Piker, who has a nasty reputation for abusing dogs and making disgusting comments about 9/11, decided to express his anger in a post written in all caps, slamming Democrats for not stopping “secret police forces” from “kidnapping” illegal immigrants.

“YOU ARE THE LEADER OF THE PARTY EVERYONE KNOWS YOU LET THE ROTATING VILLAINS CONCEDE W BASICALLY NOTHING BECAUSE YOURE OLD AND FEEBLE AND DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING, YOU COULDNT EVEN MAKE THE LEFT PRO ISRAEL (YOUR LIVES MISSION) EVEN THE BAILEYS HATE YOU! RESIGN NOW!!!!!” he said in a post addressed to Schumer.

And, of course, the talking heads on MSNBC’s The Weekend Primetime took an opportunity to melt down over the deal during their Sunday program. “I have a lot more questions than answers. I don’t know why Senate Democrats are going along so hard for a date promised in the future. It looks like they’re settling for something that is six weeks down the line… I don’t get it,” one panelist said.

Another responded, “I would say it doesn’t feel like a gentleman’s agreement. It feels like Lucy in the football. You know, it’s like, ‘oh, yeah, we promised this vote. Alright… whoops.’” Not surprisingly, several elected Democrats also called for Schumer to be booted from his position and replaced.

“Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop health care premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?” U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) wrote on X. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) also ripped the deal, saying, “I don’t think that the House Democratic Caucus is prepared to support a promise, a wing and a prayer, from folks who have been devastating the health care of the American people for years.”
