Kyle Rittenhouse recently posted a viral tweet addressing the censorship exposed in Elon Musk’s “Twitter Files”. However, Rittenhouse questions if the censorship campaign was solely limited to the Hunter Biden Laptop story.
Kyle questioned in his tweet whether there was any censorship applied to him after the media labeled him a “white supremacist” and vilified him:
“Learning about the twitter files and @elonmusk releasing the truth is making me more and more curious to find out if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on twitter. I am hoping, one day soon, I will be able to find out and the truth will be shown to all of us.”

Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty of murder charges, claiming self-defense during riots 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse fatally wounded two attackers with his semi-automatic rifle. During his trial, he received extensive, negative media coverage from many mainstream outlets alleging he was a “white supremacist” and falsely claiming he had illegally transported firearms across state lines to Kenosha.
Musk’s “Twitter Files” have set the internet ablaze after exposing internal Twitter communications proving that employees colluded with the Bien administration to suppress content on the social platform. The company decided to censor the Hunter Biden Laptop story published by the New York Post ahead of the 2020 election.
Another conservative figure calling on Musk to expose even more Twitter files is former Covington High School student Nicholas Sandmann. Sandmann received similar media treatment to Kyle Rittenhouse after being shown in a video of a Native American beating a drum in his face during a protest.
Nicholas questioned Musk if there are any internal Twitter files that could be released related toward death threats made against him on the platform. Nick stated in his tweet:
As I’m watching this all play out, I’m wondering if @elonmusk has any hidden twitter files relating to what went on here. Let’s be clear: under the watch of @vijaya they allowed these illegal threats when I was 16 years old.

The death threats made toward Sandmann were particularly disturbing, as seen in the screenshots above. Users called to shoot him “on sight” as well as put him “into the woodchipper”. One would assume this is not only a violation of Twitter policy, but illegal since it is a legitimate call to violence.
Rittenhouse has started a fundraising organization known as the “Media Accountability Project” which intends to take media outlets to court in similar situation to his and Sandmann’s experience.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Kyle claimed:
“Me and my team have decided to launch The Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court.”
“I don’t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through. So I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me, because I don’t want to see anybody have to go through what I went through.”

Rittenhouse named several celebrities and news organizations which he intends to sue including Whoopie Goldberg, The Young Turks, and others.
