The annual Conservative Political Action Conference is set to wrap up Saturday with its third full day of GOP political speakers taking the stage. MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, Vivek Ramaswamy, Kari Lake, Steve Bannon, and former President Donald Trump took the stage and discussed the plan for the party and the 2024 presidential election. Kari Lake has some solid endorsements for the former president.
Trump endorsed Lake for Arizona’s Senate race, and Lake, long a supporter of the former president, returned the favor at CPAC Saturday, delivering a fiery speech supporting Trump and calling for a return of the “alpha male.” In an interview after her speech she laid out exactly what Trump must do to return to the White House.
Lake spoke to Breitbart Saturday, and the firebrand conservative from Arizona let it be known that she is a firm supporter of President Trump. She said: “He’s igniting the spirit of America, really the spirit of our Founding Fathers.” Lake also added, “We have nine or ten months to save [America].” While those comments may sound bombastic, many suffering Americans agree.
Lake launched her campaign for Senate in the fall of 2023 with President Trump’s blessing and subsequently has picked up more endorsements, including Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Florida Representative Matt Gaetz. It is believed that Lake can win and “will go to D.C. to shake things up.”In the interim she certainly is offering up the right messaging.
The former news anchor turned conservative firebrand continued: “I actually get chills thinking about how I’m seeing everyday people who’ve never been involved in politics, stepping forward, showing up at conventions like this, getting involved, calling our office, saying, ‘How can we get involved?’” The situation in America has gotten so bad since Biden took office that even people who were not political in the past have decided to do their part in fixing the country.
When asked what Trump needs to do to regain the White House and commence to the overwhelming task of fixing what Biden has broken, Lake said: “President Trump needs to keep doing exactly what he is doing, reaching the people of this country with his incredible hard work and policies that are going to bring us back to some strong economic times, safety and security, and world peace.”
What Lake is describing is what the world and country was like when Trump was in office. Rather than start a war or become a dictator, as the left would have people believe, Trump ushered in some of the most peaceful and prosperous times in American history.
Lake and Trump have long had a good relationship and mutual admiration. The left attempts to paint Lake with the same false brush they use on the former president, but her popularity, as well as his, prove that folks aren’t buying what the left is selling. She had been rumored to be on President Trump’s list for Vice President, and while that remains to be seen, both Lake and Trump continue to pick up momentum toward the Senate for Lake and the White House for Trump.
