In some huge news shared with her following online on Wednesday, September 16, Trump Administration Chief of Staff Susie Wiles revealed that she had gotten good news from her doctors: she has apparently beaten cancer, as she is now cancer-free after months of treatment. Making the announcement, she thanked all those who have been praying for her.
As background, Wiles announced roughly six months ago that her doctors had caught early-stage breast cancer and were setting about fighting it, with a helpful prognosis given that it was caught relatively early on in the process. She then faded from the news as her doctors went to work, and now it appears that they have succeeded.
Announcing the cancer battle victory, for now at least, in her post on X, which racked up over four million views in less than a day, Wiles wrote, “Some personal news I’m grateful to share. After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear. I am cancer free.”
Continuing, the Chief of Staff went on to thank everyone who has been praying for her during this trying time, and those who checked in to see how she is doing as she battled the breast cancer. She said, “Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way.”
She then wrote, thanking President Trump specifically for his support of her during the process and treatment regimine, “A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”
Others in the Trump Administration quickly chimed in. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for example, the Health and Human Services Secretary for President Trump, wrote, “Our prayers are answered! Congratulations Susie. Cheryl and I are celebrating your recovery. We love ❤️ You.” Similarly, Tulsi Gabbard wrote, “This is wonderful news!! I’m so happy to hear this. Thank God 🙏🏽”
Similarly, Vice President JD Vance, for his part, wrote, “Usha and I are very happy to hear this news and the answer to our prayers. Thank you Susie for remaining a symbol of strength and leadership throughout this battle. Your indomitable spirit is something we can all learn from and strive to replicate.”
